Staybridge Suites - Columbus - Worthington, an IHG Hotel

The girl at the front desk at check in , was so sweet and nice . The two disappointing thing was no toilet paper and one of the comforter had like chocolate or something on it . But otherwise the room was clean and had most things. The phones in the room don't work . The breakfast is free so you get what you pay for there

Honestly it was a good hotel for the cost! The room was great! The mattress was really hard that’s my only complaint.

The room was NOT CLEAN- frankly gross- see pics The pullout bed had a mattress that was very thin, making it impossible to get comfortable. I have sent multiple messages to "managers" as I was instructed but received NO return email or call. NO way will I stay here again! Sleep in your car instead :(

We didn’t like that we had to take cold showers. Also that we had to get multiple key cards for are room.

My stay started out terrible. The hotel host first could not find my reservation. upon recieving room cards, I lugged my luggage and cooler up to the second floor stairs and found that the room was occupied. I immediately called the front desk and was told to return to the desk for a different room. After dragging my stuff back to my car, I went to the desk for a different room. Again dragging my stuff to the new room { after the desk host made sure it wasn't occupied} I opened the door to the new room and found what appeared to "bugs" in the bathtub. I called the desk once again and was told that a staff member would clean the tub. The nice gentleman tried to clean the tub and stated that it appeared to be rust stains.As I was exhausted from my day at the horse show I decided to let it go. While looking for a bottle opener I found that the silverware drawer had only two knives in it. I decided to look in the dishwasher and found dirty dishes and silverware. There were obvious plaster patches on the walls that had not been painted and the closet smelled of old cigarettes that made me physically sick. This room obviously was not presentable to a guest. The next morning i went to the front desk and told the manager Monica about my experience and wanted to cancel the next night. She expressed that since I booked through a third party She could not give me a refund and that i had to contact Hotels.com. for cancellation of the room and to get my credit card refunded.

They had to make a room change before our arrival and did take of 10 dollars,but the room they put us in reeked of urine smell horrible. The smell went through my cloth suitcase. It was in the bedroom where my children and I slept. I used my spray deodorant and boiled orange peels in the microwave to try and cut the smell. The kitchen was clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean. The bedding was clean. The refrigerator was clean and living room

I love the size and layout of the rooms

The assistant general manager, Monica was hands down the most disrespectful hotel employee I have ever come across. I have been traveling for the military for 14 years and have stayed in upwards of 100 separate hotels, and she is by far the worst.

While the staff was wonderful (Chanel and Monique/Monica were both very helpful and kind), this hotel is in need of some major work and it was filthy. I don't know if housekeeping is understaffed or untrained, but it was so dirty. The first room we got reeked of cigarette smoke. Thankfully Chanel moved us down a few rooms. It smelled better, but it was dirty. The mirrors and tvs had smeared streaks across them... as if they were cleaned with furniture polish instead of window cleaner. The bathroom was awful and there was no hot water in the room. I could get slightly warm water for a few seconds at a time in order to get marginally clean. The hallway reeked of Marijuana. I had stayed here before, but this was so much worse than the last time. I will not stay here again.

Phones don’t work. Nobody answers at the front desk. Seems understaffed
