Great gone cooked food

Had a lovely overnight stay here with my sister. Would highly recommend.

It is well situated in the walking area of Derbyshire. It was altogether a very pleasant experience. The proprietress went out of her way to be helpful.

Though we only stayed for one night, we were massively impressed by the accommodation and the general service offered. In addition to its perfect location, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were impeccably friendly and the whole place had a wonderful homely feel to it. Also, the food - for what it's worth - was scrum-diddly-umptious. Would certainly recommend.

Clean and comfortable, friendly welcome, good food. Ideal in the recent hot weather as the stone built building kept the rooms cool! I’ll hopefully be back with my dog.

Wonderful stay, was welcomed and shown to the room, beautiful area and access for great walks. They were very accommodating to the fact we had a super early start one day so we would miss breakfast, however they had prepared a lovely packed lunch for us whilst out for the day. Breakfast the next day was super tasty. Room was very clean and not slept like that for a very long time.

Lovely friendly pub. Accommodation was very good. If you want frills not the place for you. If you want lovely friendly atmosphere and good home made breakfast and evening meals definitely recommend 👌

We had a great stay at the Jug and Glass. Lovely, clean and comfortable room, Tasty cooked breakfast. People were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be staying there again.

The property is situated in a beautiful location handy for Bakewell and Buxton. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy although the pillows were not great. There was lots of storage for our things. The bathroom was also a good size but I was disappointed to find a couple of long black hairs on the floor! The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful and we also are there in the evening whi h was tasty and good value for money. There is plenty of parking space.
