Friendly staff nice place for the young kids. Plenty of activities for the kids and parents, a lot food and drinks for both kids and parents, rooms are roomy

Property lacks of service, air conditioning in the rooms terrible, trying to call front desk nobody answers the phone, food terrible, building very old and dirty. I would not stay there again .

From the minute we arrived we had issues. We were provided a room that was already occupied. Luckily the person in the room was not there otherwise we would have walked in on them. We booked two rooms and requested that they be near each other which was not the case. They got the rooms situated the next day however the AC was not working well in one of the rooms. Maintenance was notified but nothing was done. The rooms have limited outlets so it was disappointing when one of the outlets (the one by the nightstand) was missing and could not be used. No clear information was provided about the restaurant reservation system. The patio door does not lock, which is a safety concern. Even their manager recommended that a complaint be filed with Orbitz so that something can be done about all of the issues. The only good thing is that the property is near the airport.

Hotel Review: Disappointing Stay Despite Wonderful Staff I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The property itself is very outdated, and major issues impacted our stay. The biggest problem was the air-conditioning — it was not working in our room. After being switched to another room, and then yet another, the issue remained unresolved. In the heat, this made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating. The food at the hotel was also a letdown. Most of it tasted old or stale, and the dining options lacked variety and freshness. The only place we truly enjoyed eating was the snack bar located outside by the beach — it was consistently good and offered a nice escape from the poor quality of the main restaurants. On a positive note, the hotel staff was absolutely amazing. Despite being clearly understaffed, they worked hard to keep guests happy. When we arrived, only one receptionist was handling check-ins, and I noticed just a single lifeguard moving between multiple pools. The entertainment team also deserves special mention — they did an outstanding job organizing activities around the pool and hosting fun shows at the Nitro Club. The Fantasy Show for kids was a personal favorite. While I truly appreciate the kindness and effort of the staff, the overall hotel conditions, poor food quality, and lack of basic amenities like functioning air-conditioning made this a disappointing experience. I would not stay here again.

We stayed at the penthouse level with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Rooms are poorly maintained, definitely have plumbing issues, sewage smell on a daily basis. The staff didn't seem to care, so we put up with it for 7 days, and couldn't wait to get out of there.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was the rudest most worn out resort I have ever stayed! I waited 40 minutes to check in with just 2 couples in front of me. There were at least 6 staff members behind the desk but not one even acknowledged my existence. Once I was up she took my card, said sign this, put the bracelet on my arm handed me the key and that was it. She didn’t say anything to me other than sign here. I said I’ve never been here where do I go? She said down pass the gym. My room was on the second floor and nowhere close to the gym. I was the last person in line I had hardly any AC, my room was hotter than outside, after 2 attempts to fix it I requested another room. It was better but far from cool. The lock on my patio door was completely broken off so it didn’t lock Both rooms were clean with a beautiful view. The key card had a life span of about 3 entries. In the 5 days I was there I had at least a dozen cards. Very frustrating having to run to the front constantly to get a new card just so I could get in my room! Almost every evening it rained. The place is falling apart. There were towels and puddles everywhere. The rain was dripping in the food at the main restaurant, the steps coming from the upstairs restaurant were nothing but puddles and very slippery. Any questions or requests you were told to call the front desk. I did but they never answered the phone so I had to go to the front desk. There was one person that actually took pride in his work and was willing to help .. the concierge Martin. If it had not been for him I would have left the resort after being there for just a few hours. I learned very quickly that he was the only one that cared and knew what he was doing!! I wanted to ask for the manager the morning of my departure to acknowledge what a wonderful asset Martin was to the company but once again I was locked out of my room and had to get help which made me late! Martin deserves recognition and a raise!

I been berofe in this hotel 5 years ago until now but Bad Experience my daughter lost her goggles the big ones we reported to the concierge after 10 min never found incredible the staff to lost items bad attitude in another hand Kids area don’t have lifeguards food at the restaurant Palapa is very the same don’t have any space available for reservation restaurant like Italian the others many local tourist from Here by bus very crowded

The kid activities for 4-12 is great! But everything was a little out dated and food was ok with not a lot of snack options.

I think for families visiting this property, the highlight is the water park and kids club. The kids show we attended was fun. Our room was clean and had a nice view. We were not greeted on arrival and our check in process was quick. The food is average. Probably would try another hotel next time we visit Puerto Vallarta.
