Good stay and wonderful facilities..

The entrance/ reception area is dark and has no carpet. The corridor just past the pool changing rooms is half boarded so first impressions are not good. The pool was open and its a nice pool but the sauna and jacuzzi were non existent. There was no sauna at all and the jacuzzi was boarded/closed off. I was told by a regular swimmer that it has been that way for about six months!! The pool and changing areas were also not that clean. It used to be a lovely place to visit a few years ago but I would not recommend it now!

Haven't played golf here since June. On Wednesday 13th November we played the lakes 18 hole course. Tees fairways greens looking very tidy especially for November. We really enjoyed our round. What impressed me the most where the greens and bunkers and how they've improved 👍. Staff in reception very positive feeling and made us feel very welcome. Hats off to the staff, keep up the great work. We will definitely be coming back 🙂👌🙂

We played a four ball here yesterday on the golf course if that is what you can call it. This was the worst experience I’ve had in the time I’ve played golf. The signs to find the next hole are non existent. We didn’t realise we was on the wrong course here until a member told us that we were. The fairways wasn’t cut but there was loads of tire marks as if vin diesel himself been ripping the place up. The tee boxes might aswell been the rough. After we finished they had one staff member who I actually feel sorry for he was the receptionist, barman and for all I know the greens keeper too. All in all I won’t be returning.

The pool was nice .but oveasly their is work on updating the spar area.

Good value. Service good but hotel looks very dated and nothing like the website photos. Gym was excellent.

The tee boxes were like playing out of thick rough. The greens were awful and so slow; I was actively hoping for a steep downhill putt. The bunkers had grit, not sand. Some of the flags weren’t even in. Absolutely shocking, worst golf course I have ever played.

I booked a room through booking.com, as somewhere to stay for Fantasy Forest. Weeks later they cancelled the room, really leaving me in the lurch. They refused to negotiate, and demanded 17 times the price I paid (!). Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
