Grantley Hall

We came as 2 couples and had the most amazing weekend. This was our second time visiting this beautiful hotel and yet again everything was faultless. The food, the Spa and Spa treatments were all perfect in every way. I think the most impressive aspect of the hotel is the staff and the incredible high standards they set whilst being genuinely nice down to earth people who make you feel at home. Special mention to Emma Weatherer who looked after us so well in restaurant Eighty Eight, it’s very hard to stand out when the standards are so high but she managed to do so and is a credit to this wonderful hotel. Well done everyone and we will definitely be back.

Wow ....how do you describe such an amazing place ....the place is incredible...the gardens are spectacular, the staff are unsurpassable....There are many restaurants to eat in ....we chose to eat in Shaun Rankins Michelin starred restaurant, the food was fantastic, they catered for all my dietary needs ( and I'm not easy ) food was beautiful to look at and incredible flavors...really was amazing .... everyone was really friendly and helpful....this place has a spa and a gym ....the whole experience was a memory that will last forever

Beautiful surroundings and the nicest and most helpful staff we've ever met. From the minute we pulled up at the gatehouse until the time we left the grounds, this was a very special experience.

There was nothing we didn't like.

An absolutely beautiful experience x we had Fletchers restaurant to our selves for a family celebration of 14 people x the food was exquisite I had the smoked salmon and crab for starter and my husband had the hake x the monkfish for main alongside my partners lamb was just gorgeous x the lamb might have been a bit pink for some but my husband loved it x my dessert called ‘sunflowers’was the most beautiful dessert I have ever seen and I really did not want to break into to eat it but once I did it was outstanding my husband had the creme brulee and he said was the best he had ever had … along with numerous other family members who had the same ! x the staff were exemplary x our experience from start to finish was flawless and would recommend from start to end x an expensive but worthwhile experience x

Everything is excellent!

Beyond magical. This is our second visit to Grantley Hall. We treated ourselves to a Junior Suite and my word it was worth it. From the moment we arrived I am so pleased to say that the people are still what makes this place so special. A real Yorkshire welcome. From checking in to the spa and the restaurants- everything is perfect. We had one small blip with no access to a nightcap. Poppy went out of her way to ensure that Sam looked after us the next evening in 88. Another example of going that extra mile. Superb care. The Grantley Arms is a fantastic addition. Shaun Rankin's dining experience is also not to be missed. All the staff in this restaurant are professional and attentive without being overly intrusive. A special mention for Freddie. What a fine young man he is. Simply made for hospitality. So warm and friendly. He is a shining example of what Grantley stands for. We have stayed in many places all over the world and we think this is the best. Keep doing what you are doing. Saying goodbye today felt like we were leaving friends behind. That takes care and passion- which is evidently in abundance here. Thank you all.
