ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Hotel is traditional, no shoes inside, tatami everywhere. Staff is very attentive. Room was huge, with greta views and onsen bath on the balcony. There are three public private baths, that are also amazing. Breakfast is an experience in itself and was amazing. Snacks and drinks are included into the room price.

I could write a long essay about how nice this place is, but all I gotta say now is there is nothing wrong about this place at all and everything is perfect about the service. Although I would love it more if there is more activities like games and entertainments

Very traditional, beds were very comfortable and the facilities with the private onsens made it feel welcoming for everyone. Also great location - garden views were relaxing, however which show mountain views as trees cover them

Some elements of cleanliness weren't that high of a standard. For example - black marks in shower tiles, outdoor bath and also black mud/dirt on balcony area

"Charming Traditional Escape in Gōra, Hakone"

I had a lovely stay at Suiren in Gōra, Hakone. The traditional Japanese room with tatami floors was beautifully charming, and the balcony had serene views. I loved the private onsen, the attention to detail, and especially the snacks in the lounge. The food was amazing, but I do wish it were a bit more affordable. Still, a fantastic experience overall.

The only things that could improve the experience would be a slightly lower price, and perhaps a bit of added luxury—like a jet bathtub in the private onsen, which would be a really special touch.
