Wyndham Garden Conference Center Champaign - Urbana

Not much. It was close to the Maple and yolk which was really good.

It was dirty, the outside looks like it was deserted and left for all the weeds to grow through the rocks, the rooms were dirty with the vent being disgustingly, black and black stuff on the ceiling, the grout in the bathroom was so dirty and gross. The elevator didn’t work on one side and the stairs only go out to the outside and not down to any inner level. The stairwells were disgustingly, dirty, and while, it looks like it has potential, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done for a $400 one night stay.

Location was in a good place for where we were traveling.

The AC in our room did not work, room never got below 80 degrees, was very hard to sleep with a hot room. The early check in also did not help the speed of checkin as it was supposed to. All together was a sup-par experience.

Worst hotel room I've ever seen. Room was not ready at 3:30 and didn't appear cleaned. Head of the bed was about a foot lower than feet (see picture). Toilet had sticky residue on seat and "smears" in the bowl. Room was in disrepair. I wish I could add more pictures. Lobby was nice, Room was a joke. We didn't stay, we drove back to Chicago. Wyndham should be ashamed to allow this franchise.

Room, hallways were in disrepair. Bed was broken. Sink was broken. Room wasnt clean. Walls were in disrepair. I've never seen anything like it. We didn't stay but rather drove back to Chicago

Nothing was liked. What a dump. Throw in a new toilet, shower, and sink and call it good. It was the dirtiest and a total dive for what we paid for. Pealing paint and dirty ceilings. Came down to breakfast at 9 and no food was left with no staff in sight to request that trays be refilled to accommodate later risers and receive what we paid for.

Everything. I honestly feel we deserve a refund. The owners should be ashamed to call this a hotel and the hotel name/ownership should be revoked.

Outside and inside of hotel not well maintained or clean. Looks/feels like it will close soon. Elevators do not work well. Had to take stairs to third floor to avoid getting stuck in elevator and found out stairs only accessible from outside the building and the door to stairwell is not locked or secured via key card! Room was run down with wallpaper peeling off walls and bathroom not ready for guests, soap dispensers empty. All this for a very expensive rate that is only attainable on homecoming weekend. Avoid this hotel! I would like a refund!

Tried to contact the property with no answer. Was not able to cancel and they took my money anyways. Very upset.

The staff was accommodating and nice.

The property is really old. The walls were warping. The bathroom looked old and falling apart. The cost was high for an old hotel.

The hotel has a pest infestation (roaches); they came out right before we went to sleep, my wife and I checked out and returned home. I've requested a refund

The picture of the front of the hotel doesnt look anything like when you show up, looks run down. The elevator was crap. No lights to show floor numbers numbers or Up or Down..inside or outside. It was also very dirty. Toilet seat in room was broke, bathtub drain was broke. No ventilation in the bathroom. The entrance doors from the back parking lot has a card scanner for security and patrons, seems not to work or anyone cared to look at it for some time, as people and myself walked through it at night and morning without scanning. Place could be much more than what it is.

Would not recommend staying here, very disappointed. Only 1 elevator was working, the building outside looks in need of repair. Sleeping areas of the room was ok, but the bathroom was wonky with weird bubbling, no toilet paper holder, closet door doesn’t close, etc. Breakfast was inedible, no butter margarine or cream cheese, no pancakes or waffles, coffee looked like mud. And the pool is small and in the open part of the lobby. The “business center” is a computer and printer also in the lobby right by the counter. Not what I would’ve expected for Wyndham.
