Canyon Lodge Agafay

Welcoming staff and well set up. Amazing views and incredible setting. Great to escape from the world for a night. Good communication and the transfer was simple, organised for 400 DH each way. Food was delicious, the set tagine menu included with bread and dessert and salads, then traditional Moroccan breakfast in the morning.

Location & food good. Nice pool.

The property is great, the pool is huge and has amazing views, the room was very spacious (except the toilet) but double sink and shower! Beds are comfy and balcony has great views. The traditional food at night and entertainment was also great!

The toilet

The peace was just amazing, you could hear a pin drop! Our luxury tent was huge. Lovely bathroom and toilet. Towels included - and also pool towels. Each tent had own private patio with sunbeds. The pool was outstanding - absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was very chatty. Spotlessly clean - even in a desert! Food was of a high quality and very tasty. Drinks were reasonable. Evening entertainment was perfect - singing and dancing but not too loud or rowdy and finished at 11pm.

The location was out of this world. Peaceful, woke up in the morning and could hear a sound. The infinity pool was incredible and huge. Once in a lifetime experience. Included dinner, which was accompanied by local musicians, which involved the audience. Was offered a camel ride or quad bike ride, which would have been amazing, we didn't take them up on the offer as we were only staying for 1 night. Breakfast was a good offering. Bathroom was not expected to be of such high quality. It's definitely a stay to remember, highly recommended.

The bed, although massive, wasn't very comfortable. The road in was a single track and broken road, felt sorry for our taxi driver in his new car.

No flexibility during medical issues to cancel free of charge, no emphaty, just eager for money. Not even answering to emails, whatsapp, phone calls, just ignoring.

We were kindly upgraded to a very big room. The swimming pool was really lovely and drinks were served at the pool.The breakfast was passable. We could have breakfast when we wanted to but compared to other breakfasts in Morocco is was just ok.

We were upgraded to a very nice large tent which was unbearably hot when we arrived. There was no electricity ( not their fault perhaps ). There was an air-conditioner in the room which din't work even once the electricity was activated. There was a bath which filled with a trickle of water which was tepid. My husband wasn't well which is why a bath was important. The dinner was really hardly passable. The starters were ok however the main course of a beef tagine was barely edible. The meat was tough and stringy. I would the music show rather invasive and substandard.
