Swan House

The building was lovely and the room was nice - however it was the hottest day of the year and we didn’t even have a fan in the room! We tried to ask for one and no one answered the duty phone! It was hotter than hell in our room!!

Gordon the owner met us and so very kind and welcoming a real Gentleman, he took time tell us abput the area snd where we could find a meal. We had a wonderful over night stay and met the other staff in the morning who very helpful and kind ...

Only thing to fault is we weren’t advised parking outside restricted.

Situated right in the middle of town but surprisingly quiet. Lovely room with an incredible balcony over looking the church.

Friendly welcome and the room was pleasant and clean.

Unfortunately I was in Seth room which was built into the eaves. It was very uncomfortable as I was unable to use the corridor, sink, toilet, living space or get in and out of bed without fear of banging my head. I was left feeling very intense and couldn’t wait to leave the room. At no point was the explained to me while booking the room.

They don’t serve breakfast but the room was very nice and clean and fresh.

The lady who checked us in was not very friendly or welcoming and quite abrupt in her manner.

Really lovely room very cleverly designed and spacious. Very comfortable bed and great wet room/shower. Perfect position to explore Beccles.

A little bit of traffic and street noise but to be expected in a town centre hotel
