Black Bear Inn & Suites

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were so friendly. The older gentleman serving breakfast was precious. So sweet.

Comfortable beds and great location.

Breakfast was good but limited. Cereal waffles bagels toast and hot scrambled eggs and sausages.

The was very nice and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. We like that you can get coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day since we left early. We didn't stay for breakfast but it looked nice.

The pool was under maintenance, but that was no big deal since it was only one night.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. Each morning they offered either a hot breakfast of sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy, and tater tots…. Or … you could fix yourself a waffle, toast, bagel, with cream cheese or butter. They also had cold cereal available and of course you could have coffee.

It’s very convenient to walk to attractions and restaurants.

Easy to get to. Watch out you don’t get rear ended when pulling in.

No hair dryer in room. They didn’t even mention to us that you had to check one out from the front desk when we checked in-had to go down and get it in the morning. $50 if you don’t return it! Breakfast looked terrible. Old guy at the front desk was borderline rude to me when I called and asked out the hair dryer. Just said “it is what it is”, didn’t offer any apology or sorry sir. Very poor customer service for a tourist town. This seemed more like a Motel 6 place but twice as expensive.
