Roami at St. Helene

Location is very central to most things in the French quarter. And the terrace is nice to people watch. Appreciated the fridge in the room and the room amenities.

There’s no staff at the location. When we arrived, the check-in code did not work and we were standing outside with nine other people whose codes also did not work to get into the building. Someone who was already staying in the building was able to let us all in. About 20 minutes later someone did call us and assisted us with a working code to enter the building . This location does not have luggage storage for when you check out because it is not staffed, which is a shame. It would be nice if another Roami location would let you store your luggage. Unfortunately, the location is loud. Whether someone on the street is blasting their music at 4 in the morning or if someone upstairs has loud footsteps you can hear everything.

I like how it’s right in the FQ. I normally hang out on Decatur so it was just right there.

I didn’t like that there was so much space between the door and frame. Light from outside my room spilled in through the cracks and the door shook each time someone came or left and slammed their door (happened a lot.) and it would have been nice to have had one chair at least on the balcony.

I will be staying here again if the prices are agreeable!! Walls are paper thin though.. yes, people will hear you have sex.. they will hear you cough… laugh…

Best location in the French Quarter, easy walking distance to everything.

I really enjoyed my stay at Roami. It was worth the trip to New Orleans.

The location was amazing. But the hotel smelt horrible. You can hear the neighbors through the wall.

bed was ok no grocery stores nearby

Neighbor was very loud and easy to hear and certain electrical devices were faulty. (Lamps etc)
