The Georgian Terrace Hotel

We had a lovely stay at The Georgian Terrace and overall really enjoyed our time there. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which was incredibly spacious. One of the highlights was the dressing room—my wife absolutely loved it. The director’s chair, wall of mirrors, and full-length trifold mirror gave it a classic, glamorous feel. That said, the hotel is clearly in need of a refresh. Several light fixtures in our room had burned-out bulbs, and the dressing room in particular was quite dim since only a couple of bulbs in the mirror worked and the overhead light was out entirely. Even the light by the entry didn’t function. The bathroom also felt dated, with older tile, fixtures, and sink, and the carpet in the living room was visibly fraying. Overall, there’s a sense of wear that’s hard to ignore. We also dined at Livingston. The service was attentive and the food was genuinely very good, but the restaurant itself mirrors the hotel’s condition—it could benefit from updated tables, chairs, placemats, and glassware. The location is a major highlight—directly across from the Fox Theatre and right in the heart of everything, which makes it incredibly convenient, especially for events. We booked through our travel advisor, who secured a preferred partner rate that included additional amenities, which made the stay an excellent overall value. In summary, we truly had a wonderful stay and would return—especially with plans to come back when Wicked is playing. I would recommend the property, particularly for its location, service, and value, but with the understanding that it’s a charming yet somewhat tired four-star experience that could greatly benefit from some updates.

Not a very comfortable stay. The hotel was largely populated with nonpatrons. I assume it was prom weekend and the lobby and other common areas were to congested for paying customers to move through the hotel. Very noisy and the elevators were tied up with people moving from the lobby to the roof. The room was subpar. Overall not a good experience.

Not a lot of communication between shifts.

The staff was wonderful. They do not have room service but there are restaurants and a coffee shop in the hotel. The room did not come with a refrigerator but the front desk brought one to my room after I requested it. I would stay there again.

Location was excellent. We had tickets for the Fox Theatre. Atmosphere was good. Room was great. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. We enjoyed eating at Lounge and bar. Food was excellent.

The staff were amazing the room was very outdated. There were water stains on the wall and ceiling, big carpet stains on the floor and eye lashes laying on the desk.

We stayed for two nights for a wedding. I would never stay there again. Starting with reservations- we wanted to request an early check in. We were told our reservation was noted. Another family member was told they do not do that and a 3rd family member was told there was a charged. You could not get a straight answer. A few days some got a link to PAY for an early checking. The outside and lobby are beautiful. The suites are run down. We had two broken microwaves in our kitchen, floor boards pealing up, a refrigerator that was always full of water. The bathroom mirror was cracked. The “master bedroom” had the dresser up again the bed so you couldn’t open any drawers. The hotel had no amenities except a gym. The Speakeasy was nice, but the bartender was rude to everyone in our group. There are many other options in the area that we would try next time.

here for wedding. room was nice, but there should have been some beverages in the fridge. Nobody came and cleaned our room.so no fresh towels and full garbage cans.

Location and customer service was great

This is DEFINITELY NOT a 4⭐️hotel…to compare this place to Motel 6 would be an insult to Motel 6… the staff is rude when we simply asked for a towel. The front desk will not call you back when you ask for simple things like a minifridge that was promised to be in your room also no microwave but again don’t ask for one and the pool, which I have attached photos is not what was promised on the website. None of the amenities listed were even in the room or offered.
