"Disappointed Guests"

Had a bad experience with the Chateau. I was stuck in the elevator for 31 minutes and no one from the front desk answered the phone, so I called 911 and the Branson Fire Department came to rescue me. Housekeeping did not clean our room the last two days we were there & did not change our sheets the entire visit of seven days. We were in a group of 150 people and we heard issues from our friends, especially concerns that no one answered the phone. The Assistant General Manager did not return our calls, and when we talked to her, she was rude and not concerned about our issues or the issues of our group.

"Peaceful Getaway"

The lobby and room were absolutely amazing and beautiful! So much to do and see and space. I would say things would be ever more elevated with just some things renovated. Example being the hot water heater and the over all look of the Chateau. It gives 1970s, which is fine but it is a bit outdated. I did wish there was a walkway to the beach as well, the lake is absolutely beautiful.

"Perfect Family Getaway"

What a beautiful hotel! My family stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing! They had fireworks the first night which were awesome. The hotel had everything we look for in a hotel- clean, great staff, indoor and outdoor pool and hottub, bar, restaraunt, coffee shop, and very comfortable room. There was also a movie theatre but the weather was perfect so we never used it. The lobby is very whimsical with a large koi pond, waterfalls, trees, and glass elevators. Overall this was an amazing experience in a beautiful hotel.

"Fabulous exterior; disappointing interior"

Beautiful location & pool. Interior is very dated & needs renovated - does not live up to the expectations of pulling up to this beautiful hotel. Carpets are very worn & dirty; furniture & decor very dated; TV in rooms are ancient. Need a bar/grill area outdoors. Really a missed opportunity with this beautiful property.
