Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Get ready to get nickel and dimed for everything! Want a drink? Play $5.00 total on machine. Order off menu. The size of a small Dixie cup. Can only order one drink every ten minutes. If you go to Bar, have to be a certain club member for free drinks even when playing. Cup of coffee $5.50. Was a joke. Rooms were clean. Only problem we had was no outlets other than one on the bedside for a CPAC. Luckily we brought an extension cord. All in all not impressed with the place. Everyone you talked to said it has seen it days. Will try different Ceasars in the future.

We were assigned to the Chelsea Tower. After a nice dinner, I went upstairs to our room to shower. When I arrived at our room, it was so hot that you couldn’t breathe. I turned on the air conditioner and went to go take my shower. When I turned on the water, there was no hot water. I called the front desk. They told me they could not switch my room that I needed to go all the way downstairs back up to the front. I went to the front and a repair person was in our room and only fixed the heating problem. The hot water was not fixed that was being left to another repair person. I waited in line for over 30 minutes only to be told that we would have to wait for the repair person that the hotel was completely sold out. By this time it was 1030, And I had already taken all of my medication and needed to get to bed. I was told I could upgrade to another room, but I would have to pay the difference. A manager never would come out to speak to me instead kept sending the front desk clerk back-and-forth with different messages. After paying for the upgrade and getting to my new room, which was clear across the way in the Havana tower, I finally was able toget to bed by 12:30. I was extremely sick and had to take rescue medication because of their errors. I’ve been to this hotel of more than a few times and because of this occasion, I will never return. I highly suggest you book at The ocean, it is nicer cleaner, and the staff actually treats you like family unlike Tropicana. Run for from this place.

I had an outstanding experience checking in thanks to Zonyeet, the front desk clerk, at Tropicana Hotel & Casino. From the moment I approached the desk, Zonyeet was warm, professional, and incredibly efficient. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and he took the time to answer all my questions with patience and a genuine smile. What really stood out was his attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. It’s rare to encounter such excellent customer service, and it truly sets the tone for a great visit. Huge thanks to the front desk team—especially Zonyeet—for making me feel welcome and valued. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Did a one night stay, had an excellent clean room in the north tower. It even had a bathtub! North tower is close to the casino. There are some excellent restaurants like Hash House A-Go-Go and Casa. Trop is still good and friendly.

Bathroom lightbulb was burnt out. No water pressure. Room was never cleaned and made up.

1st time staying at the Chelsea and it was a very nice stay. Everything was nice and clean. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Will come again.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We went for a much needed get away and had such a fantastic time. Highly recommend this hotel and casino.

Good service. Clean rooms and facilities. So many things to do at this resort. Staff are friendly and informative.

This was the best vacation ever. The hospitality and staff were amazing. The room was clean and the Board walk is right outside the back door. The food was excellent and so many places to eat. The Casino atmosphere was amazing, so many choices to choose from. Thanks, Frachesco and Manny. You guys are awesome!!!!

I stayed at the Tropicana Hotel Casino during Mid October 2025. One Evening while I was spending my time there. I ordered a drink at their Hotel Bar named "The 10 North Lounge" I was Robbed/Pick-pocketed for a "Large Sum of Money" I did not contact the AC Police which I should have at the time. Tropicana's Staff does Not Care to resolve these type of Issues. The Management of this Hotel/Casino has made no effort to Compensate me or even offer to Comp me in any way. I sent a Certified Letter to their Management explaining my situation and they did nothing. Shameful way to run a Large Company Folks. Please Stay Elsewhere in Atlantic City not this Hotel. Prices will be much more affordable.
