The Fazeley Inn

The staff and the locals were very friendly. A very nice welcome at the desk. Our room was lovely and clean. Particularly liked the breakfast menu, so you could choose as much or as little as you liked, and then charged accordingly. This is a great idea and more places should adopt this. Off street parking was a bonus.

We had room 2. The decor is very tired. The roller blind was broken. The bathroom vent/ fan wasnt working. Mould was evident on the ceiling, probably because of this. The shower tray was a super smooth finish and very slippery. I had to use a towel to stand on to stop from slipping. The basin plug was missing, leaving a gaping hole that you could easily lose a ring or earring down the plughole! But for the money we paid £46 ,really you cant knock it. My comments above are meant in an entirely constructive manner. We wpuld definately stay again

Room 007 is stupidly loud, so loud I had to change rooms. Air con unit ticks on every 10 minutes which was a pain. Loud in the evenings but luckily don’t sleep before 12 so it wasn’t too much of an issue

The public bar/ very good breakfast menu has plenty of choice at a very reasonable price. The staff helpful and friendly.

ROOM 7 DO NOT BOOK THIS ROOM REASONS WHY. (1) AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BEDROOM WALL,WITH THE PIPES COMING THROUGH INTO THE ROOM AND DOWN THROUGH THE FLOOR AND VIBRATING ALL NIGHT,. (2) HEAVY TRAFFIC CONSTANT NOISE THROUGH THE NIGHT WITH DELIVERY VANS SERVICING THE RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS EARLY MORNING. 05:45 (3)THE WINDOW BLIND I CAN'T FIND THE WORDS SO WILL ATTACH PHOTOS. YOU WILL NEED A MASK AND EAR PLUGS IN THIS ROOM . PLEASE DON'T THINK THIS POST IS SOUR GRAPES IT'S JUST THE PLAIN FACTS REGARDING ROOM 7
