Baymont by Wyndham Springfield IL

How this place can pass inspection is beyond me. I was in room 201 and as soon as I walked into the bathroom there was bugs and hair on the floor. The mattress had a massive stain at the end of the bed and the tv is non functional. And the breakfast is honestly the most questionable part. Stay away. Not worth saving the money.

Too much to write about. This place is disgusting and filthy and in disrepair. One would have to see it in person to appreciate the poor state that it is in.

The ceiling had been leaking in the middle of the floor, there was a trash can catching the water which had a very foul order...very nasty

Breakfast. Not enough light in the drive up area.

Room was dirty when we checked in...hair and a dirty wash cloth in the shower, and hair ties in the floor by the ac unit. TV did not work.

Asked to see the room because of my initial impression of the property. The hotel carpeting everywhere was very dirty and worn, trash was spilling out of receptacle at the front entrance, no one was initially at the front desk for several minutes, and the pool was closed. The room smelled and the light switch was on a timer? and didn't look safe. The pictures are completely deceiving. I did not stay here and had to find a cleaner, more acceptable hotel elsewhere. Sign posted said it was under new management, but the entire hotel needs to be closed and renovated.

The room itself was good except there was no coffeemaker in room, the hair dryer cover over the fan was broken. The breakfast area was very dirty and had very limited choices overall.

This hotel is beyond run down, dirty, weeds growing up all around property, breakfast was not worth eating. Mold in vending machine area, dirt and dust completely filthy and gross.

Down right filthy and scary.
