Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Birch Run-Frankenmuth, MI

They quickly changed my room as I had thought I had reserved a King sized bed with a whirlpool tub.

The floors were very dirty. Carpet looked like is hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. Various bad smells through out

The person who checked us in was not friendly or accommodating. The pool and hot tub were out of service as they were fixing it, which was a deciding point to stay there. There were black trash bags hung up in some areas; I’m guessing for the fixing they are doing to the pool. The hotel was dirty and unsanitary. They had left used shampoo/conditioner and lotion bottles in the room. There was sticky substance all over the carpet floor. We could not be without our shoes.

Outside area was nice and maintained. Inside was being worked on and smelled old and musty. The room was ok but had sticky stain in front of fridge on the carpet. Toilet tank issues were given to front desk. Maintenance tried to fix but still issue. Room door had weather strip missing and could see big gap in the door. Little things wrong that needs fixing. Overall, once repairs and remodeling are done would be nice place to stay.

Do not stay here! The room was absolutely filthy and the hallways smelled of mildew. I didn't permit my children to use the pool. While the staff was kind ( apparently they are going through a transition and new owners are taking over with renovations in the winter), they could only offer a coupon for our next stay for 20% off. Seriously? I took pictures as i was so appalled. Had we not had a non-refundable purchase we would've left last night.

Perfect for our travelling needs. The hot breakfast was nice as was the staff. The room was spacious and very well kept. We did not use the pool or other amenities as it was just a quick overnight stay before continuing our journey the next morning. I would recommend this hotel.

The carpet was not vacuumed and candy wrappers left on the floor. Carpet had many stains. Sink and tub had no stoppers. More than 1/2 the duplex receptacles were unusable. Curtains were torn and off the rod in some places. No useable TV guide provided.

It appears as though things were just renovated and it was very nice and clean. The king bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Overall it was a great experience for a good price.

This property is currently under renovation- and it's sorely needed. The most useful upgrade would be additional outlets and charging ports. Several of the outlets were so worn that plugs would fall out of the socket. The tub in the bathroom was very stained. The A/C was functional but it took a long time to cool down the room.and mostly, there was about a half inch gap between the entry door and it's frame, so we weren't certain how secure the room was.

Sorry to say this place is a total health risk! They told us the pool was out of service, no problem. The sinks and bath tub was discussing with stains, missing parts and hair on the walls. And all they did was making excuses. I took pictures if anyone wants to see and I will post on social media to protect others. Do not stay here, go somewhere else in the area!
