Jekyll Island Club Resort

nice, a bit remote. no elevators. tv didn't work and they sent someone an hour later but he didn't have luck and said they'd fix it the next day after i checked out. bring bugspray.

What an absolutely beautiful location! So much history! The resort is spread out over multiple buildings that include a club from the turn-of-the-century Robber Barons, and outlying “cottages” that some of the more wealthy patrons (Pulitzer, Goodyear) built. The grounds are magnificent; strolling through them is like walking through a European estate. The buildings are modernized, but maintain the balance of old-style touches that remind you that some great names from history shared these rooms. Located right on a tidal river, the views, especially at sunset, are gorgeous. It’s just a 15 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean and a great beach, but they have a shuttle too. Staff were wonderful. Food delicious. There are plenty of activities, but it’s a great place for lounging too. Really worth a visit. Just an hour from Jacksonville.

This is an amazing historical hotel! The grounds are beautiful and quaint at the same time with even a horse drawn carriage. The room we had was small, but nice. We were part of a group tour so I'm assuming we had discounted rooms. Bathroom is small, but functional.

A perfect weekend getaway! We enjoyed the historical aspect of the club, the experience was great. We will definitely be back!

We love the Jekyll Island Club resort, one of our favorite places to go for a relaxing getaway. We love the low key enviorment, and everything about strolling around and taking in the history to using the pool or being able to arrive at the beach with a chair and umbrella waiting on us. Thank you!

The Jekyll Island Club is a fun and peaceful destination with a unique sense of nostalgia. The property does a great job of preserving the charm and character of the past while still providing an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The atmosphere is wholesome, welcoming, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the surroundings. One recommendation: bring a bike or rent one during your stay. It's one of the best ways to explore the island and easily get around while taking in the beautiful scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return.

Is beautiful lush resort in the Georgia Islands the temperature is always perfect! Tina took care of everything! The rooms are large and clean. The dining staff was lovely! Kiera leads an outstanding tour in the afternoon for the history of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the gorgeous amenities and our time at the beach. The employees are so lovely. Jamerson was so nice to help us with anything! This was a fantastic vacation for our whole group!

Spent two nights with my husband at Jekyll Island Club. It is always a pleasure there because the staff is so polite. The facility, food, amenities never disappoint. Will be back!

My stay at this property nothing short of exceptional. This hotel has timeless beauty and elegance that starts at the beautiful front porch and check in area that has fruit infused water and homemade cookies that are delicious but also beautifully displayed. The beautifully maintained grounds add to the experience. Our suite was huge, and the plantation shutters opened to the pool and the front of the hotel. . Every member of the staff provided outstanding service, especially Mike who checked us in and shared the history of the room, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was memorable. We had the brunch buffet in the side room with windows and I loved the omelett station and the make your own yogurt bar with so many toppings. The Jekyll Island Hotel is rich in history and hasn’t forgotten how to make their guests feel pampered. I’m looking forward to our next visit already.
