Jekyll Island Club Resort

I spent 2 days here for a business meeting. The location and facilities are spacious and attractive. There is remarkable natural beauty in the location, which features dozens of enormous live oak trees draped heavily with Spanish moss. Acres of manicured lawns and paved walkways make it enticing just to take a stroll. The handsome buildings are well appointed. Staff members were hospitable and attentive. I had the smallest room in the main building complex; the bed was rather uncomfortable but otherwise the room and bathroom were fine. Every buffet meal was delicious and featured a nice variety of options. Even the decaf was tasty! This was a great spot for a small conference and would make a superb location for a relaxing vacation.

Very quiet. Stayed in the Cherokee villa. Loved all of the history at the JIC

We checked was put in a 14x14 room One chair No where to unpack Overlooking dumpster and roof We complained Was told over booked Front desk unprofessional in helping out I have had better experience at Hampton Inn Hot water did not work I will never return there

We had to cancel our booking. That wasn't the problem. Jekyll Island sells a bad weather insurance policy on the booking page. They don't inform you that the service is not cancellable even if you cancel your booking the next day. Then the service, Sensible Weather, emails you ever day even after the cancellation, and this goes on until the dates of the trip are done. You could be getting emails for six months if you booked in advance. There is no opt out, and they are rude when you ask.

A/C didn’t work in my room and they supplied us with a loud fan. Towels were worn. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel and overpriced

Arrived in mid afternoon after driving I-95 from Orlando. The resort was a peaceful spot to recover from the trama of driving I-95. We appreciated the overall serenity of the island and the relaxation provided by the hotel experience.

Always enjoy our stays at this hotel. Excellent staff and great environment. Would be great if the hotel offered nightly evening dining in the grand dining room.
