Loved the hard working ladies in the pantry. Good food and decent prices. The grounds were beautiful.

Need more maintenance and a ground crew. Needs lots of painting and porch cleaning. Our room was musty.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and truly could not have had a better experience. From the rooms to the amenities to the overall atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. What made the stay especially memorable was the team. Olivia was so sweet and helpful during the planning process! She made sure everything was prepared flawlessly and we really appreciated the amenities she left for us when we arrived and the night of our wedding. Colby and his team at our rehearsal dinner was so kind and helpful! My mom LOVED him. I can’t recall if it was MJ or RJ (my apologies for not grabbing it - she had glasses and was a doll), but she greeted us with a smile and words of encouragement every time we ran into her! Scott was a constant throughout our visit, helping with an overwhelming amount of luggage and always doing so with such kindness and care. Ben at the bar made our welcome drinks feel extra special and went above and beyond by keeping things open for us and our guests multiple nights. Eva was so thoughtful in helping us get everything packed up and loaded at the end of our stay. And Mike, the GM, was incredibly gracious and a joy to chat with. I work in hospitality tech and stay in a lot of hotels, and this experience truly stood out. Genuine, thoughtful hospitality can be hard to come by, and this team absolutely delivered. We are so grateful and have nothing but amazing things to say. We look forward to recommending it to everyone we know and returning in the future. Excellent getaway. Perfect spot for friends and families to gather. Lots of outdoor activities. Our bike rides and pool experience was fantastic! Delicious food and extremely friendly/professional staff.

We stayed at the Jekyll island club resort for a wedding. The front desk staff was very accommodating with an early check in. We used the valet and the staff especially Scott& Jamerson went above and beyond helping with luggage and the cars. We hosted a private brunch on the property the food and staff were excellent as well. We would definitely recommend the Jekyll Island club resort for a weekend getaway.

It was an extremely nice experience. If, however, you are a senior or physically impaired, you should be aware that some of the cottages do not have elevators and at least some are three stories. My wife is ambulatory but cannot do stairs very well. We were assigned a room on the third floor of an elevator-less building in the otherwise fully booked resort. To the credit of the terrific hotel staff and a generous other guest willing to swap, we were able to get a room in a building with an elevator.

The Jekyll Island Club is a one-of-a-kind experience! From the beauty of its historic hotel to the hospitality of its attentive staff, our wedding weekend was perfect. Shout out to Scott who handled the enormous amount of wedding baggage with a smile. 🧳 👗
