Jekyll Island Club Resort is not only an opportunity to travel back to a simpler time, but it is peaceful and relaxing, as a vacation should be. We love the courtyard music and general ambiance of the Jekyll Island Club Resort and the shuttle to the Beach Club.

The outside music at the wharf was the best! The pool was wonderful but HOT! Love the smores at the pool too. Glad the coffee shop down the walkway had matcha.

Don’t pass up an opportunity to visit the Jekyll Island Club Resort! Step into the past and experience a bit of local (and national) history with modern amenities. Beautiful accommodations and over the top food and service. And so close to the ocean with Driftwood Beach, nice shops and, of course, Captain Steve’s boat tour to see dolphins.

We stayed 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The Resort is very old and full of history with lots of very picturesque views from multiple porches. The inside has several charming little parlors to relax and just take in the history of the building and furnishings. It has everything an historic building should have, creaking staircases, uneven floors, gorgeous chandeliers and lots of wood finishes. Our room was small but clean with an updated bathroom. My only complaint is that we were unable to get hot water in the shower. The best we could do was luke warm.

Staff was excellent. Grounds and food were good. The hotel is showing its age and lack of upkeep Not the cleanest with many many areas needing paint and repairs. Enjoyed our stay but would choose other hotel options if returning to Jekyll.
