Didn't eat breakfast

First the people next to us was complaining about noise when our family talk loudly smh.Secondly they charged my card 5 dollars and some change for some water we didn't even drink so I wasn't satisfied at all but I called the hotel and they did refund me my money but still i was very disappointed!!!

I had to visit the Mayo Clinic here from the Western US. This hotel made my experience easy and less stressful in terms of accessing the clinic itself via a 3 minute walk and, despite my medical anxiety, making my time there enjoyable. The staff at the hotel from the general manager, Chuck, to the housekeeping staff were absolutely first rate in every respect. Between clinic visits they suggested best areas for beach access, great seafood venues, beautiful legacy neighborhoods to explore, and gardens and art collections. Thanks to them the level of my medical stress was reduced and I actually enjoyed myself, bringing home some great photos and memories. Sincere thanks to Chuck and his excellent team!

We love the service here the employees are great . The rooms are awesome. I will definitely give them an A plus. The food is good

The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Especially Kim at the front desk as well as Stephanie in housekeeping. Also the young man who came to reset our television after a thunderstorm was so helpful. My husband threw out a pair of pants. Our keypad was in the pocket. Kim went through the dumpster until she found the pants. She saved the day. This is going far beyond the call of duty.

I was amazed at this Marriott. Yes, it was convenient to the Mayo Clinic. But there are others that are not far from the campus AND more reasonable for patients and their families/friends. The fact that we found in our rooms 2 water bottles with a sign tag on them $5 was incredible. The restaurant was also very pricey. No free breakfast there! And the room rate was more than other hotels, just bc of the proximity. Mayo has free outdoor parking lots or $5 per day garages. Their cafes and restaurants are very reasonable. Also the same water that Marriott charged $5 was for a bottle twice the size was 2.98 at Mayo! We felt that Marriott was taking advantage of their location but callous about the reason people were there. Shame on Marriot

The room and the air conditioning smell mold. I had to leave air conditioning off during my stay (4 nights), and the window door open for ventilation (luckily there was insect screen)

My husband had major surgery at the Mayo Clinic, and the clinic accommodated us in their Care Room at this hotel on the day of the operation. The next day, while my husband was still experiencing severe pain and nausea, he was forced to leave the room at 10:00 AM because of hotel policies, despite having spoken with the front desk and arranging a checkout at 1:30 PM to give him time to recover. They practically kicked us out. We will never use this hotel again. We **DO NOT RECOMMEND** staying here.
