Fisherman's Cove Resort

We had a wonderful experience during the breakfast. Elumalai has greeted us very well... Chef Ravi's Prawn curry is simply awesome and delicious... Shanthi Service is commendable... thanks you so for the wonderful morning and a good start of our great day..

The location on the lagoon and the in-person staff are exceptional. Breakfast is great. The entrance to the small resort is really special with an open-air pavilion, and the grounds are beautiful.

The reservations team will email you before you stay telling you that your credit card information is incorrect, and asking you to make payment online via their system (threatening to cancel your reservation if you do not) - this reads like a scam but is not. However, we were not willing to do this as it violated our booking conditions, and we were able to pay with card on arrival (although the reservations team continued to threaten cancellation until our arrival). The hotel had events on Friday and Saturday night just next to our room which were incredibly loud until 10:00pm (Friday) and midnight (Saturday). The bed was likewise very uncomfortable with a hole in the middle, and the AC broke mid-stay, with a waterfall cascading onto the bed below. The hotel is now undergoing renovations which hopefully provide useful upgrades.

. we had our honeymoon trip to seychelles for which we booked fisherman cove. BUT the basic decor or welcome from fisherman cove compared to other hotels which we have seen on other island hotels was not that welcoming/ worth the price paid. The hotel staff said we ll be gettin some honeymoon duo which we didnot get/staff didnot explained it what exactly was it. We were also having some problems in room like it was hot inside room which could have been managed by staff giving some basic info about room. Otherwise the property is beautiful.

Hotel very dated. Rooms are awful. Sink blocked, no tv for 2 days, lizards crawling up the walls, no laundry bags in room, tea & coffee not topped up daily, crockery not removed from the room after used. Only 2 bottles of water per day complementary. La Cardinal restaurant had the same boring breakfast selection daily and the charged €55 per person for a lousy dinner buffet. Definitely not a five star as stated on some websites. I wouldn’t give it a 3 star.

good facility but not serves in the way should be,, cleaning and happy faces are not there. no access to the sea, you need to go to the next hotel if you want to swim in the sea which is public and you can't enjoy it the way you paid for. this will be my last visit there

The location of the resort was great. We were greeted nicely on arrival and explained about everything available except the gym. Drinks and food were great and at acceptable prices. We got a room upgrade. The pool was as in the pictures. Great breakfast choices. Easy access to the beach.

The resort is getting refurbished soon and it shows that it's due refurbishment. The room had a stale smell, walls were peeling from moisture, the furniture had wear and tear, floors were damaged on the spots and the shower was leaking slightly in a few spots. The toilet had a bit of a smell and looked like it needed proper scrubbing. The lack of privacy on the balcony was disappointing and we felt that some cheaper rooms had better privacy.

We had a fantastic time in Fishermans hotel. It's charming and authentic. We got a very warm and personal welcome and we were overwhelmed by the wonderful locaties. The hotel is surrounded by lots of palms and exotic plants, only separated by the pool from the sea and the beau vallon beach is reachable by a little walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great room (de luxe ocean view) with a terras having sunbeds. Restaurants all good, food was an explosion of fantastic tastes. We really enjoyed the whole stay!
