Was there for business, hotel staff were very helpful, friendly Room had everything you would need for a comfortable stay Have to give a shout out to the excellent bar staff especially Thayne, he went above & beyond

My company booked an accessible room for one night, and there were some issues. So, I spoke with Georgina from reception and she was amazingly helpful and got me more of what I needed to make it easier for me. I headed to the bar for dinner I needed more information on their gluten-free options, Thayn was exceedingly helpful, ensured me from start to finish he would handle my order to make sure there was no gluten cross contamination. I was able to eat with the peace of mind I deserved. Extremely helpful and highly recommended!! Go and pay them a visit, you wouldn't be disappointed. I must add, the accessibility of the hotel is questionable, the flooring choice in the accessible room requires an inspection, tiles have no grip and cannot be deemed accessible. Although, I could manoeuvre throughout the hotel, the doors are heavy and not automatic. Carpets throughout make it challenging to propel and the fact they only have baths and not wet rooms is questionable.

Good hotel with plenty of parking and lots going on around it if you want to eat out. Room was nice, shower was ace, breakfast yummy and the staff were very friendly from check in to check out.

Indulgence over 30s night. Good points; a good vibe there, most people were OK with mingling. The DJ was reasonably good there and played a mixture of music and helped by playing requests and I even managed to get a few others to go up and request songs. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I shall return again if I got the chance. Bad points; although I regret having to do this, one of the security staff there on the night seemed to have a power trip with me and wanted to treat me like an 18 year old. I am 50. All wanted to do was let my hair down and do some dad dancing and enjoy myself. Apparently he'd witnesses me trying to talk to women and they "didn't like it". I told him he'd mistaken me for someone else. I also explained to him that I'm pretty sure that they would have told me and I would have gone away. I'm sure that over 30s have had a lot more experience in saying "no". He then walked me to his colleague who appeared to be (reluctantly) trying to agree with the first one like I was some sort of sex pest. I went there to avoid stuff like this in clubs where 18-25 year olds are hang out. The ultimatum given to me was to go back to my mates, or go home. I went back to my mates, relayed this info and then carried on dancing 'til gone 2pm and enjoying myself. I'm not a pervert of sex pest and to say I was doing that in the first place made me really annoyed and I was fuming to be polite.

Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good location for our weekend visit to the area. Excellent breakfast

Asked for a cocktail and received an excellent show and service from Thayn and Gabi. They were super friendly and attentive. Couldn’t have been more pleased.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very dated bathroom.

My wife and I use Holiday Inn and its peers, and they can vary in quality. Sadley too many faults/complaints outnumber the positive issues with this site. Located in a leisure area (cinemas, restaurants etc) it was incredibly noisy at night. Positive it was clean and well maintained but it stops there. 2 night stay. Night one was a motor bike rally at midnight in the adjacent public car park. Night two followed with a boy racer contest around the same time. Night two was also marred by a young child in the room above running around at 1 in the morning (and again at 6.30!) Morning one commenced at around 6 am with the collection by the recycling vehicle - morning two by the window cleaners spraying and wiping/smearing the windows at 0730. A visit to the bar resulted in waiting for 10 minutes of one of the 3 in attendance (plus 2 on the desk) to bother to serve me. Finally having to pay £12 a night in addition to the room hire to park my car took the phish. Buter beware sums it up.
