Room was very cold on the 4th floor. Lighting was poor with 2 light bulbs out. The shower head was clogged with limescale....

Room was right next to some works, reception was able to switch me immediately and was very helpful!

Room was terrible, old and run down. Carpet was bumpy all over, dirty curtains in the bathroom windows, the bathroom floor grimy..dirty grout...horrid dirty, old bathroom door at the corners - must be changed. To top it all off they have the heating on a timer so when we were ready to sleep it was off and cold they had to bring an extra duvet as Reception said they had no more portable heaters. At £118 for the night absolutely shocked at the amount of issues and the condition of the rooms. Appalling. If it wasn't a one night stay would've demanded my money back and gone elsewhere!

First they gave me a room with a single bed, so I went down to complain and got a room i'd asked for (Q or K bed). I said there was no air con control in my room. "Oh no, there is none." why not? "Because this hotel is 'listed' but we could send up a fan if you want." He was serious, a fan in the middle of winter. the heating system never worked in my room.

Really fantastic location right in the centre of town. The reception area and bar is really lovely. The rooms could do with a freshen up to be as luxurious as the reception/bar area feels. It’s a shame the rooms don’t match the rest of the hotel. We have stayed here twice now as the location is perfect with a huge amount of parking available in a secure car park behind the hotel for £10 per night which is very reasonable for a city centre location. We will definitely stay here again but a freshen up of the rooms would be great.

The rooms were very shabby. It was dirty. There was what looked llke blood on the tills in the bathroom. The netting does not appear to ever have been washed. Not good. I was charged £10.00 for parking. I was chsr

Carpets in bedrooms filthy dirty, radiator in bedroom broken, toilet did not flush efficiently,poor shower pressure

The first room the toilet did not flush and the ceiling panels were loose and coming down. The second room, the tv Ariel which after 30mins I was able to fix. The rooms were small and very basic for the money.

The room had damp problems and because of overbooking they could not give a new room. In the morning the shower was not working at all and we had to use a shower in another floor.

The lobby area of the hotel is very nice and modern but the rooms are dated, the bed was small and the bathroom was also dated. The lobby area made the hotel seem like it would be a lot nicer than it actually was. Decor of hotel rooms was less than average compared to other hotel chains.Good location and clean.
