Hotel Silver Spring

Outstanding property and staff.

The hotel was nice. A little dated but nice. The only issue I had was the parking. People were in the parking lot smoking weed and I was told to pay for parking by phone, yet the gate was open all weekend so I paid for nothing. I could have just drove out and saved my money.

Heater made loud noises, and the cleanliness overall could have been better. Is smaller then the actual photos

Parking garage is super tight spots and was annoyed we had to pay to park.

Had a mouse hanging out in the room around 3am. Couldn't sleep after.

The location is good.

The property had mice running in the rooms. Had to change rooms twice to avoid the rodent. Given a dirty room. The air conditioner did not work. Poor lighting. one fixture was broken.

Every time we stay here, they don't seem to be able to fulfill our request of not being in an adjoining room the first time we ask. We went to four different rooms before we finally found a room that wasn't adjoining. Additionally, the second room we tried had an issue with the heat making feel like 100 degrees in the room. The lobby seemed to be in disrepair with a hole in the ceiling. We were told that finding us rooms to fulfill our request was challenging because two floors were blocked off due to the elevators not working. Overall, the place just seems to be going downhill and we'll choose another hotel the next time we stay in Silver Spring.

Love the location & parking garage . Staff were very pleasant . Room was very warm, even with the heat turned off . Also had trouble turning off the water effectively in the shower .
