Aspen Mountain Lodge

Absolutely horrible! A tent outside would have been better than staying at this dump! Slept in a bed where every time I moved, the headboard hit the wall because it wasn't Connected! Pillows hard as rocks, mattress felt like it was dragged from the bowery in the streets of N.Y. Opened the blinds, and could have made my own mountain! Of dust and dirt! Never, ever again! Pathetic!

The front desk tried to be very accommodating. The place is clean and maintained. It is an older building and a little worn. We requested the third floor, but there is no elevator, please note. I liked having an outside patio and the breakfast was very good! I would recommend, this lodge.

Dated interiors. Broken mirror on closet door. Low quality breakfast. Possibly the lowest end hotel property in Aspen.

It's always difficult to leave a negative review, but I believe in honest feedback, especially when choosing a hotel. Here's my experience to help others avoid a similar situation. The Issues: Run-down and Dirty: The hotel felt neglected. Worn carpets, wripped carpets, loose bathroom tiles, and cleaning supplies left in hallways created a poor first impression.For some reason, the staff liked to stay in front of my door and chat frequently. Breakfast Concerns: During breakfast, there were no plates available, and the staff member serving didn't have their hair tied up, which raised hygiene concerns.Also, it was difficult to get to the food as the staff was frequently in the way. Disruptive Noise: The soundproofing was inadequate, allowing noise from upstairs guests to easily disrupt my sleep throughout the night. Unshoveled Walkways: The snow remained uncleared outside the entrance at 7:00 am, making access difficult and potentially unsafe. Unaccommodating Staff: My was cancelled and I asked for 1 day refund, which was flatly denied without any explanation. Misleading Rating: This hotel, in my experience, felt more like a 2-star establishment, not the advertised 3 stars.

Great location, very acceptable price

Great Aspen stay. Beds were comfy and Amenities were great. I expected a blah breakfast but was pleasantly surprised although the lady running breakfast couldn’t keep up with dishes for everyone nor some of the basic foods. And this was not during prime ski season. Great location close to bus stops.

At 250 for one night in Aspen, I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience, but I don't have much good to say. The bed seemed to be clean, but other than that it was very run down, and needed a 10 digit code to unlock the door, very inconvenience.
