"Surprise little gem"

The customer service at the Aspen Lodge was better than any high end hotel I have stayed in. Everyone from the second you entered was so friendly and helpful. The staff even helped us carry coolers. Above and beyond! Definitely would stay there again. While it is an older place, it is clean and comfortable. Conveniently located so you can walk to downtown Aspen. Highly recommend!

"Dangerous Parking Situation"

parking lot completely covered in black ice and there are no lights up. No way to navigate around it - wife fell and fractured elbow , plate and 4 screws. Heartless managers reply "we try, you just have to be careful around here in the snow". Numerous similar kind of posts about lack of empathy from management. This ice was not cleared even after this disaster and i nearly fell when going back to airport again. its not just about the bad quality , its dangerous to go there esp at night.
