The Laguna, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Nusa Dua and around Bali and this was hands down our favorite one. Just so you know what we’re comparing it to, we’ve stayed at other 5 star resorts including Kempinski, Conrad, etc. This one stood out so much that it genuinely made us want to move to Bali and live in one of the rooms. The number one reason was the swim up room. We wanted immediate access to the water straight from our room and it was perfect. The rooms themselves were very updated, modern, luxurious, and beautifully designed. What made this place different though was the feeling. Even though it’s a luxury 5 star resort, it felt comfortable and peaceful like home. The grounds are very spread out and designed strategically. Even when the hotel was busy, it often felt like we were the only ones there because the sunbeds and lounging areas were not clustered together. You get privacy, space, and a very elevated luxurious feeling without constantly feeling surrounded by hundreds of other guests. The staff was amazing and extremely customer oriented. They loved on our 2 year old daughter so much that by the end of the stay it felt like they became family. The breakfast buffet was incredible and had almost everything you could think of. Throughout the day there were also thoughtful complimentary touches like free ice cream for both adults and children along with other unexpected surprises that made the experience feel extra special. The location was also perfect right in between many of the other top luxury resorts in the area. The only critique or suggestion I would make is the design choice of some of the furniture, specifically the luggage inspired headboards and the outdoor sofa design. Instead of creating a calming and relaxing environment, it gave more of a “traveling/on the go” feeling with the suitcase aesthetic. Small detail, but something that could elevate the atmosphere even more in the future. Overall, truly an exceptional stay and easily our favorite resort experience in Bali.

The food, service, staff everything was exceptional and to be honest it ruined our experiences in other Bali cities because nothing can compare to how much we were spoiled at the laguna.

Nothing I didn't like.

My wife and I, stayed at the Laguna for our first wedding anniversary/ honeymoon and we had an amazing experience. The room was beautiful, always clean and the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive; especially Maha our guest relation assistant. The food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the catering and service team were very supportive. Drinks at the sapphire bar were refreshing, the bartender Rama was lovely and easy to get along with. The beach was easily accessible, with plenty of sun loungers and the resort had a number of pools scattered throughout its grounds. All in all an excellent resort with fantastic facilities and outstanding staff. Would definitely recommend!

The Laguna is a beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings, with superb landscaping, spectacular lagoons and a clean, calm, swimmable beach. The staff were amazing and made us feel genuinely part of the hotel family. The food, especially the expansive breakfast, was excellent, and the whole experience felt calm, luxurious and absolutely worth it.

Fake bottom of the pools / at this range of the hotels I expected a better quality. Price for food compared to the room a bit hight - lunch 40€ per person etc .
