Cape Cod Irish Village

Our room was on a part of the property where there was no elevator access. There was no indication of this on our reservation. It was very inconvenient to carry luggage for 5 people up the stairs. Housekeeping doesn’t clean. Just restocks towels and makes the beds. The tub and entire bathroom was not cleaned at all. The food at the restaurant was not good at all and overpriced. The breakfast was either greasy or bland. We asked for a microwave for the room, we were told they don’t have anymore. We asked for extra blankets, we we were told they don’t have anymore. Our reservation was for 5 people and there was not enough blankets for 5 people. The deck boards on the balcony were loose. Not an overall great experience.

Very relaxing and quiet. My kids enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pools and the jacuzzi. My husband enjoyed the FULL gym for exercising. Loved the decor. We didn't eat at the 2 restaurants available in the resort. We opted for one of the MANY, MANY, restaurants nearby. Beaches, restaurants, and shopping can all be found in a 5-10 minute car ride. The only thing I would recommend is they update the mattresses. Our beds were very uncomfortable. Old style spring mattress was very squeaky and bouncy. Not good for sleeping with a partner. Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitely return and recommend.

Had a good time at Irish village. Very convenient to the main avenue and beaches. Plenty of free parking on site and nice indoor or outdoor pool option. Didn’t eat any meals onsite, but they do have an in house restaurant (Irish pub). My only wish was our room was had some updates to wear and tear. Our sliding door hardly opened, we had to lift the entire thing off the track each time to open and close, the bathroom had zero ventilation and the wallpaper was peeling in some areas showing not so great things underneath. Overall, the property was well maintained and served its purpose for my family. Hard to find somewhere on the cape that is affordable and more modern. Staff were very nice. Allowed us to check in a few hours early!

When I arrived, I really liked the structure of the resort. But when I started to notice, there were bugs on the floor, especially on the bathroom floor and a lot of spider webs. The lady who serves at the restaurant bar, totally unprofessional and rude to customers!

We stay at a lot of places. We have not encountered the high level of customer service we did here, in at least a decade! Every single person was super kind, always had a smile and went WAY out of their way to be helpful. My husband is in a wheel chair and staff got ice for us every day! They approached us with offers to assist us many many times. The room wasn’t my favorite, the shower was small, but the customer service was top notch and the reason we will be back, year after year. Every one in customer service were extremely helpful plus the cleaning crew were outstanding as well, very family oriented and friendly. We will definitely return soon

Great location. Excellent pool and snack shack with cocktails. Beds comfy. Room had no phone, no clock, no info about hotel amenities or tv stations, no password codes, no ability to call front desk, no hangers in wardrobe, view of burned grass.

I had a family emergency on the 2nd day of the 2 day stay. I made an attempt to speak with someone at the front desk. She said would have the manager call me, but then later just said to call experian. The manager was too much of a coward to come out and speak with a guest of the hotel that had some issues with their stay.

Worst trip ever. If I was given a choice of sleeping in the streets or staying here I would be with the homeless. On my stay which was paid for did not show up on their data base. I showed the email from Expedia but was told by the woman at the desk that it was my problem and not theirs and I had to get it sorted out with Expedia. The same email which I assumed that was sent to the Irish village which had all the information for my stay including the paid in full with my credit card number and itinerary number. Luckily between my wife and I we had the money to pay for more nights while I wait 8 to 10 business days to be reimbursed. Now we go to the room, popcorn on the floor, dirt under the bed hair on the pillows and on the bathroom floor. The mattress pad under the dirty sheet looked like a rodent had chewed a hole into with brown stains on the side of the fitted sheet. When we went to report the room was unsatisfactory at the front desk we got a bit of an attitude but was told house keeping would be there to fix it. This I believe should have been taken care of before I was given the room. I have used the Irish village for nearly 12 to 15 years using their old location in Yarmouth, but sadly I WILL NOT be lodging with them ever again. Lost are the days of good customer service and a clean room. I wish them luck in their future.

Old property, old carpet and smelly room. It costs like a resort but room was no better than 1-2 star property.
