Cape Cod Irish Village

I booked an accessible room but our room was accessible. There was four steps to get to our room. When I brought it to their attention that we needed an accessible room we got the attitude it is only four steps can’t you handle that we have nothing available with no steps. After going back and forth we were able to get into a room. The attitude carries into the restaurant/lounge too with the employees working in there. The day of check out the water coming out of the shower was nasty. I called down to the front desk to inform them and I got “ what do you want us to do about it you check out today?” Um I don’t know I paid for a room up to checkout time I would like to take a shower? I have tried calling back to talk to someone and left messages and nobody will return my call. For the price there is nicer and friendlier places to stay with clean water.

Unfortunately our stay was not the greatest. Our first room (room 149) was very unsafe. The door did not lock and was at ground level which made me nervous. There was also a terrible mildew/mold odor from the room. We went to the front desk and they switched our room with no problem. However , after we unpacked and settled in we noticed splotches of blood all over one of our pillow cases. By this time the desk was closed, and we had no choice but to stay in the room. (Room 241). People were outside drinking and smoking (which i thought was only allowed in specific places). The tenants kept hitting on my teen daughters, making them feel unsafe. The staff was very friendly and curious, but the overall cleanliness of our rooms were disgusting. We will not be back.

It was great thst it was right across the street from the concert venue (Mellody Tent). The property was nice and the staff was excellent I would absolutely recommend this place.

We liked how close we were to Main St in Hyannis. But we were clearly in a non-renovated room. Still had carpet that smelled like carpet. We had 2 air conditioners in the king suite but only one worked. So half our room seemed somewhat cooled and the other room was not. Most of the time it was just plain stuffy. I was not pleased with the lifeguard staff. One in particular was rude and nasty when talking to my kids, he actually made one cry, besides that he is in a position to life guard and had an AirPods in his ear and on a phone call at the time which I could not believe. Would stay again if we were in an updated room which had non carpeted floors and would not go to the pool. All the housekeeping staff and front desk was wonderful and nice always addressing what we needed.

Classic old beach place. Musty and humid. Shower didn’t drain and toilet barely flushed. It did the job while we were there but will stay elsewhere next time we’re in the area. Carpet was nasty.

Room was very far away and could use some updating but was very clean and comfortable. The WiFi didn't work great, because we were so far from the main building. Maybe get a booster for the rooms father away. And maybe add lamps with charging ports and plus in them as there seemed to only be one electrical outlet for the whole room. In the age of electronics that is not nearly enough in a room.

Our room was clean and the bed comfortable but an overwhelming damp, humid smell in the room was very off putting. The property appears a bit tired and in need of a little TLC.

They should have microwave in the room and bathroom can be more clean

I showed up to a horrible smelling room with a dehumidifier going. Found out the next morning why - for some reason the floor of half the room was soaking wet and I have no idea why. Was very disappointed
