Great Time

No just no. Stayed one night and one was too many! Came home and had to make a list of the issues we encountered. Our room was horrible. 1. Front desk vibe - friendly but not informative. Felt rushed. 2. Cost! Over $175 for the night. Outrageous for what we experienced. 3. Room decor is sparse and old looking. Nothing comforting or pretty 4. Nowhere to sit to eat or work. You're left to eat on the bed you're going to sleep on. 5. Smell - very moldy not pleasant at all 6. Fridge on table. Yes the room fridge was simply stuck on top of the room's one and only table topped by an ice bucket. Danger much? 7. Gross orange splatter stains on fridge door 8. Dirty towels. Each bath towel looked at had stains..ew! 9. Wood floor scratched beyond belief. Looked like a roller derby floor 10. Tv had 2 remotes but no help as to how to actually turn it on. Took us about an hour to luck out and press the right buttons for it to work. 11.Why didn't we call desk well there was no phone in the room! 12. Patio door had no working lock just a flimsy bar 13. Loud halls & balconies. You can hear everything especially the lovely drunk couple fighting on the balcony above you at 3am. 14. When we arrived one of the beds had many black specks just laying there...ew!! 15. The other bed was about 5 inches from wall. Not great for the 3am bathroom visit when you hit your knee on the wall. 16. Blankets over sheets were old looking like the kind you'd get at a thrift store 17. One pillow had a black stain. After that we didn't want to see if the others did too. 18. Bed Comforters were slippery and flimsy material. 19. Toilet seat when we arrived had the same kind of black specks...gross!!!! 20. Bathroom floor tiles were cracked and loose. 21. No fan in the bathroom. Wonder why there's mildew? 22. Bedstand drawer ...you guessed it more black specks 23. Marks all over wall and ceilings. Multiple colors and shapes. 24. Two dim lights in the room. Better to not see the filth by? 25. 3 hangers in the nope not a closet but an ancient looking armoire. How would people hang their clothes here if they brought say 4 shirts? 26. No room phone...small thing but very strange 27. Plugs and extension cord under bureau/TV stand was a mess. Looked like such a fire hazard 28. BUG on floor! Yes we had to kill a bug crawling across the floor. Lovely! 29. Cobwebs all over patio 30. Space under door is insanely big. Like creepy crawly big. 31. Hallways have wood floor. You can hear every door closing very loudly 32. Housekeeping is aggressive. Checkout is 11am Maid tried knocking on door twice while we were getting ready to leave way before that time. My thoughts were of anyone who might be sleeping and bothered by the knocks they weren't expecting. Felt like an invasion of privacy. 33. Check out was worse than check in. Very nonchalant and no care for pleasantries All this being said no we will not return and hope our experience and those of many others warns you off until changes are made here. Sad because we wanted to enjoy our getaway.

The hotel was great, but their staff brings them to another level. Two shining stars that stick out were Ani and Dion. They are rockstars. I would go back just based on their service alone.

My husband and I attended a Vietnam Vet reunion 20 years ago in their first location. We had a wonderful time and the authentic Irish food was delicious. This year we returned to their new location. The room was clean,resonable and spacious with views of the courtyard where we watched bunnies and birds in the morning while having our coffee. The staff was very friendly and enjoyed their jobs. Our waitress Annie from before is still there and was still doing a great job. In the evening we joined" Uncle Paulie" Hamill for authentic Irish tunes as well as modern American hits. Leon our bar tender was attentive and entertaining. We even had the original bartender from our first visit who recognized us and had a video of my husband playing at the Wee bar. No summer at the shore would be complete without checking it out.

Incredible customer service by the staff! Annie was great! Not only was the staff very courteous, but the amenities (gym, pool, hot tub, etc) were very nice. I will be looking forward to coming back in the future! …………………………………………………………………………………………….

I come every year with the Great Cape Quilting Escape. It is a large group of people who love quilting. This was my 4th time visiting the resort, It just gets better with every visit. Rooms are very clean, Food was very good, and the staff is amazing.
