Dunraven Arms Hotel

simply the best place to stay in Adare - high quality on every measure - not having a restaurant meant we were able to explore the lovely town (Pat Collins Bar is our recommendation) - excellent breakfast usually with a tour group but they're lively and weren't a bother as they retired early enough to not be loud - NB: pack a swim cap if you plan to use the pool!

Loved the town of Adare and loved the Dunraven. Classic older hotel, full of class, history and charm. Go to the Bunratty Medieval Banquet! So-much-fun! We loved every minute of it!

Fabulous experience @ Dunraven Arms. Stayed here for only 1 night with a family member. From check-in experience to bar visit to the pool to dining room, the wonderful staff @ Dunraven Arms are truly what make this historical hotel such a wonderful experience. There is an authentic, Irish hospitality offered by the staff we met at The Dunraven Arms who were keen to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. It is hard to put into words just how the staff are so genuinely helpful, considerate and dedicated here. It feels like they are proud to host guest and want you to have a lovely time. We would also highly recommend booking in for a massage or treatment with Fiona @ The Treatment Rooms @ Dunraven Armd who is one of the best therapists I have ever met. Our hot oil massages were sublime! To be transparent, there are areas of this hotel which could do with some upgrade ( sauna, gym and spa area) however the old world design of the hotel rooms and dining room was just really something special for us. There are other hotels with infinity pools and spa experiences which do not have the charm and history of The Dunraven Arms. It really depends on what you are looking for as a guest. The Dunraven experience was something special. Breakfast was high quality food, local produce and so worth it. Location is perfect as you can walk to everywhere in Adare. Overall I would recommend this renowned hotel if you are considering a stay in Adare.

Overall a decent hotel. The room was spacious and clean , but no tea or coffee facility in the room. The breakfast was a buffet , which was good but nothing extraordinary . Eggs made to order. Staff were pleasant and professional.check in and out with smoothly. Though it’s a first for a €50 deposit to be taken from my bank account on checking in and repaid 4 days later.

Bed was great. Breakfast was well below expectations - scrambled eggs looked awful, pudding was cardboard & bacon petrified. The who place needs a bit of reinvestment. Wait staff need to be trained

We recently held an 80th birthday celebration in the Dunraven Arms. I found Louis a pleasure to deal with in terms of organising the event, nothing was too much trouble. The food & service on the night were excellent. Thanks to Casey & the wonderful servers. The birthday girl and her family were made feel very welcome and it made for a very memorable occasion. 10 of us stayed over & got to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lovely dining room. The freshly carved ham on the bone is worth it alone! I’d recommend the Dunraven Arms highly.

Very quaint hotel. Restaurant was nice, staff amazing. The bar area was a nice spot to hang out as well.

Charming old world hospitality. Very good food.
