The location was great. The neighbourhood is very quiet and beautiful. It is very close to public transport, but also a nice location to walk to and from to the various sights of Kyoto. The bath tubs made for a relaxing way to finish the day after walking around in the rain.

There could have been some lamps in the bedroom, but this is a small criticism.

"Great apartment in central Gion, few steps away from many attractions and the metro/bus lines. Strongly recommended."

Large apartment on two floors, big bathtub, very central.

Check-in experience was ruined a little by the hosts laughing all the time as if they were mocking us. We are still grateful they allowed us to put the bags in the apartment before check in time.
