Only because there is MAJOR construction going on.

Clean, nice, close to hospital. Shuttle.

Very good all around. Mark at front desk was welcoming, helpful in instruction about construction and how it effects walking to Mayo, provided info on shuttle, explained we could leave our car for a few hours following checkout to attend Mayo appt. He offered info on complimentary breakfast. Room was quiet, spacious and well designed. There are nice restaurants walkable. Parking was great.

The road in front of property was completely torn up, which is not their fault bu a major inconvenience. The handicap parking was a few parallel parking spots and a large truck was taking up three spots. The other spaces are very tight and were all full. Breakfast was fine. The elevator did not stop level with the floor, and was completely out of order the day we checked out. So we had to use the stairs with all our luggage. The shower/tub did not match the room pictures. Pictures show a shower stall or bathtub with wood seat, but we had just a tub with shower. They provided a shower seat, but it’s worthless without a shower wand.

My room was clean and quiet. Easy check-in.

Walkable to St. Mary’s hospital. Courteous staff. They shut down breakfast at 9 AM? Called day of check in to inform we would arrive late. Was not told elevators were not working. Room on 4th floor. Brought someone for back surgery. Yikes! That was rough. Luckily they found room on first floor next day. What’s going on with Marriot properties?

The elevator was supposedly broken. I dont believe it. I think they may have been shory staffed or kept a floor closed because of a lack of help or trying to keep cleaning costs down.

The staff members were very nice. However, the hotel is old, the elevator was not working. The rooms and furniture are old and have the old smell, the bedside lamp was not working, toillet was constantly flushing. Pretty dissapointing experience.

Right next to St. Mary's Hospital, and many great dining options close by. Comfortable beds. Layout in our king room was convenient.
