Everything was excellent!

If you are looking for a spa getaway that is moderately priced with elite service and Aesthetics (those hills!!!), this is your resort. I spent weeks researching spas all over the country and had no cares where it was located because I never planned on leaving the property once I got there. The photos on their site are incredibly accurate, but what they can’t show you is the hospitality of every employee that works at this place. From checking in to sitting by the pool to getting a massage, every second was absolute pampering. A lot of the staff was young and I applaud all of them for the efforts they put in to making each person feel welcomed and well taken care of. Always wanting to help. The food was outstanding, and though it was not an all-inclusive, I feel like everything was priced very reasonably. I took this trip with my mom for some R&R together and La Cantera gave us the ultimate experience. The spa in particular was so high-end we felt VIP the entire time walking around in our robe and slippers Sipping cucumber, water and relaxing in one of a dozen areas with coloring pages and puzzles and gorgeous views of the hills. We also chose to stay on floor seven, the adult only floor and it was incredible. I don’t know if the rooms on other floors are the same or different but I did notice that floor seven had a balcony with seating outside whereas the other floors did not have seating on their balcony. We also had a concierge lounge, which in my mind was going to be a very small room with a few snacks and it turned out to be a full service bar with a happy hour every day, candy, lots of snack options, and a delicious charcuterie board every day at happy hour. We did notice that we pretty much had the 7th floor and the spa to ourselves during the week but once Friday hit, it was a completely different vibe, lots of people and the noise level definitely increased. Not a bad thing, just depends on what you are wanting. If I were to do it again, I would make sure and visit just during the weekdays. I loved the calmness of the smaller crowd. So happy I discovered this resort, it was everything I had hoped for in a short getaway.

This place is amazing , views multiple pools,slides, bars restaurants 🙌 amazing. Overall just a really nice resort and marcela at check in was fantastic.

This was our second stay at La Cantera. We stayed on the 7th floor (adults only) and enjoyed it very much. We had an issue with workers entering our room to fix some things without permission so we were very upset about it. They left a mess behind and a power drill, otherwise I don’t think we would have known. A little scary but after letting customer service know, Thomas was very polite and offered a room credit. We had dinner at Signature which I highly recommend. The shuttle service to the La Cantera shops and restaurants is a huge plus. We parked Friday and never had to use the car. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the spa passes but hopefully we will next time. Staff is very friendly but the young waitstaff at the adult pool could have been better. Curious how much will change with Hilton taking over.

Everything was very nice. Clean and transportation bus was always coming and going so I didn’t have to wait a long time.

They really need to provide better service to and from the parking areas. EVERYTHING is uphill from the self-parking lots and there is no shuttle or golf cart service. On top of that they charge an exorbitant rate for self-park. The parking is atrocious!!!!

Terrible service at restaurants. Went for breakfast this am and was informed I couldn’t order eggs, toast, etc even tho the rest of the table was served exactly that as I arrived .and there was a buffet with all of the above. No water, no utensils, no napkin.Had to go in twice to ask for first cup of coffee. Gave up on second cup. Pool service was ridiculous, asked for drinks, came 30 mins later, fries came cold 45 mins after ordering. Entire adult pool area was not cleared of dishes, glasses. When we asked if they could clean table by our chairs were told they hadn’t been asked to clean them before….obvious. Tables , cushions at adult pool area were gross as well as bathrooms. Clearly not enough staff, and those that were there didn’t want to be. Very disappointing, we were there to celebrate a 70th bday (from Canada). You can find better resorts.
