Holiday Inn Maidenhead Windsor by IHG

I like the hotel and the rooms. The breakfast was good with good options. It was very busy and took us too long in the queue and even longer for a cup of coffe.

Pleasant stay. no complaints. bed was decent, good air conditioning in the room. would be nice if guests had access to a microwave though. would stay again.

The room was comfortable. Paper cups for tea and coffee seemed to bring down the feel of the room. Id like to think that was a Covid thing and not a permanent addition. Lack of a shower curtain was a little awkward although this was rectified after I reported it. Food was good. I ate main meal in restaurant first night but as i hadnt booked a time for the following evening I ate in the bar area. Little noisy there so if you want a meal in peace make sure you book a time in restaurant. Parking is ok however just remember to book the vehicle registration at reception as its a pay car park for non hotel guests. Nice enough stay overall though.

Every where was clean. rooms very dated and fittings need repair or replacements

The outside of the property is very dated and the approach a bit scruffy so not a good impression. However, inside is much better - clean and modern - and the staff are really efficient, friendly and happy to help. Bar was well run and breakfast god

Staff we’re all very friendly and very helpful. Room was very basic and tired. Holiday inn seem to have reduced everything to the very basics and still charge a premium. This is one example of an organisation who is using COVID as an excuse to charge more and reduce the service you get for your money. Breakfast was like going to a food hall at an all inclusive holiday. Queue for everything which took forever. Table service would have been far more convenient and easier. Definitely not a hotel for the Business Traveler.

We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, lovely pool and the breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay :)
