Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront by IHG

I was there for a conference where every meal was provided. The food and beverage staff did an excellent job. They were just amazing. They were flexible when our schedule went earlier than expected and were always very pleasant in the service they provided. Marisol, Jordy, Denis, Rene, Claribel, Julian, Wilber, Miguel, Lidio, Sebastian are amazing and should be commended for their diligent service.

We’ve stayed here twice now. This last trip was literally because we were nearby and wanted to come back and eat their fish tacos! Beautiful atmosphere, great food, great bar, pool is clean and heated, and obviously the ocean views can’t be beat. Highly reccomend!

Our room was wonderful, clean and spacious. Any time we needed anything a staff member would get it for us immediately and with a smile.

Great hotel the restaurant area when it gets busy makes it difficult to use the stairs to access the beach the vip was outstanding the short young man that works the evening shift is tremendously friendly and kinda made the stay great by asking how we doing etc restaurant food it’s 8 out of 10 for me would definitely stay again.

Location

My room was right next to the life band that played extremely loud music until late at night. The hotel felt very dated. I pulled up to check in and the valet guy told me I had to park across the street without offering me a parking pass. I logged all of my heavy luggage onto the overpass into the hotel and then got a new parking pass and walked back across the overpass to put the tab on my car and then return back to the hotel and difficult to unwind after working all day due to the loud music.

We had a great "staycation" at the Crowne Plaza! Valet parking is now included in the resort fee as of January 2026 and everyone in the valet department was outstanding. The sign that says $8.00 for valet is for people visiting the hotel, not guests staying there. Even though it is an older hotel, the rooms are nicely updated and all the rooms have vinyl flooring. Longboards is such a beautiful place to have your meals and the band on deck on the weekends is a lot of fun. Our room faced the pool area so we did hear the band but it was okay with us. The pool is small but it was still fun. All of the staff from front desk to valet to restaurant to housekeeping were very nice and pleasant. We really had no complaints and would love to visit again.
