Holiday Inn Express Mentor Banquet Center by IHG

I booked the room through Expedia. We arrived at about 1am and I forgot to call ahead so we were marked as a no show. But the front desk staff took care of the issue, offered me a water, and made sure I wasn’t double charged. The cleanliness was a little lacking, but it was a great stopover for the price on our way to New York. I always appreciate dealing with people who don’t hate their job and that seems to be a shrinking population. Thank you for a good experience!

Our room was very nice. Great shower with rainfall head. Good location. Front desk staff were very nice.

Very friendly and courteous staff took great care of our two families during our stay. Enjoyed the free breakfast and everything else as well. The staff even helped us resolve several issues that came up during our stay by going out of their way to provide assistance. Only complaint was the pool was very cold, instead of being heated to a suitable temperature.

Had a late check in and when I went to take a shower, there wasn't a place to put the shampoo and soap except for the floor. There were no curtains in the room and the blinds were pretty much transparent allowing the parking lot light to shine through all night. Went to use the toilette in the morning and it was clogged and wouldn't flush without overflowing.

Arrived for a funeral and they wouldn’t give me a room key because my father booked the room and we arrived separately. I offered to have my father call them and they said they wouldn’t give me a key even if he did. I ended up waiting in my car until they arrived. Terrible service.

The parking lot has very poor and unsafe access. The property should make a cout througn connection in the back lot so customers can more safely enter and exit the property. No Breakfast was served and no staff were at the front desk and no one answered the morning phone. Westayef there because of the breakfast benefit. Please tell management.

Reserved for a family wedding and wanted time for kids to unwind in the pool but that didn’t happen cause it was rarely open. Our room was t cleaned and towels weren’t switched for clean ones and garbage never emptied

This hotel was ready to access. And had good visual appeal both outside and the interior. It was laid out very nicely . It offers all the amenities. Internet, a indoor pool. Our room was very nice had a large couch two TVs a large refrigerator a microwave a coffee maker. Very clean room. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. Sausage waffles 🧇 scrambled eggs potatoes juices, coffee English muffins and Bagels. And mor . Very nice.

the hotel halls smelled dirty. the breakfast, if you can call it that was disappointing at best. for the price of the room i would expect real cream for the coffee and not a generic canister of powdered creamer. the lighting in the room was horrible, no full length mirror the shower head was very nice, however the shower door was not secure

This hotel needs to update their facility. The lobby was dirty and nasty. Garage, cups and plates from the previous night was still in the lobby the next morning. The water in the bathtub took 25 minutes to go out.
