Holiday Inn Express Mentor Banquet Center by IHG

Per the hotel website, it is supposed to come with a hot breakfast. There wasn’t any hot food, juice or coffee fixings. There was a couple stale English muffins. Additionally, the garbage was overflowing. We had to incur extra cost by purchasing a breakfast elsewhere

Strictly a convention hotel. No hot breakfast. Prefer Holiday and Hampton.

Not bad, ok

The breakfast and pool area are both fantastic. The room wasn’t great. Shower head kept falling off and the tv was a pain. Carpet all stained. And the lighting in the room and bathroom was very dark. But I would stay again just for the breakfast and pool!

Our stay here was amazing. From the housekeeping staff up to the owner was by far the best hotel experience I have EVER had! Rooms were very nice and clean.Breakfast was awesome with a wide selection. Check-in/check-out was a breeze and the management staff made you feel at home and were very eager to please. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel AC was really loud though. It was hard to sleep at night when it turned on

Overall it was clean, spacious and courteous. Only minus we had were no hot tub and the breakfast was not very good. Giving it a A-. Staff was great!

The staff was delightful and accommodating and quick to respond when assistance was needed. The room was spacious but not clean. Lots of dust in obvious areas as the TV stand, Keurig, un-swept, un-mopped bathroom floor, debris from other guests under the beds-which I only knew because I was searching for my wallet- refrigerator was dirty, glad I had disinfectant wipes to wipe it down before putting in my provisions. The couch was a broken down sad sack that should be put out at the road with a “free” sign. The Womens poolside locker room was unkempt, dirty, with an easily replaceable mildewed shower curtain, and sorely in need of a complete remodel, as is the entire property. I could tell at one time it was a very nice place, now not so much. Again the staff was wonderful.

We stayed one night. Booked well in advance and somehow were given a dark, dingy handicapped room on the 1st floor with very little light in the bathroom. We were staying for a wedding and needed to get ready for the event. When we asked if this could be corrected or moved to a room with better bathroom lighting, we were told to wait. We waited about 45 minutes, then waited again at the front desk. Apparently they were full, so after a long wait, a floor lamp was placed in our bathroom as the correction with no further attempt to make anything better. We are used to far better accommodations and service when there are problems. This hotel is clearly short staffed. Friends stayed on the 3rd floor at the same price and had a beautiful room. That made our experience even more irritating.

Wonderful experience. The pool is awesome!
