The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and far away from the noise of the city. Breakfast was good, especially the waffles. Overall the stay was good. I would return.
USUSDog friendly hotel! great assortment of breakfast items both hot and cold. I appreciated the staff refilling breakfast items even 10 minutes before closing. The lobby keeps spa water, coffee, and hot water for tea and hot chocolate at all times. I was amazed the pool and hot tub was open 24 hours. Very convenient! Guests can purchase Shepler ferry tickets at the lobby and save a few bucks opposed to buying tickets the ferry dock. Easy and free shuttle to the dock as well! Lastly, the food and drinks at The Club inside Breakers Resort is a great place. Very good food and can't beat the scenery, literally less than a minute walk from the Holiday Inn.
the outlets attached to the bedside lamps did not work properly. Wall phone charger box did not fit snuggly and kept coming off the outlet. therefore, my phone did not charge overnight.
Room service walked into our room twice hours before check out. The second time my husband was in the shower! When we did check out I told the clerk at the front desk. She should have offered some type of discount. We would have been happy with 10% to buy a cup of coffee
Great access to St Ignace and ferry to Mackinac Island!
We absolutely loved our stay here! Upon arrival, we were greeted by very friendly staff. We had booked a beachfront room that was perfect. The on-site restaurant food was very good and we loved eating outside next to the beach. We will be back, and our stay will definitely be longer.

Hot tub not working properly and not very clean.
This property is an excellent location
USWe were on the 1st floor with a walkout directly to the waterfront and seating area. Beautiful view, comfortable seating and landscaping/flowers was nice. Breakfast was well stocked and there were many choices . Comfortable beds. Our .2 queen room was very comfortable for my family of six.
Chairs outside could use a little cleaning, spraying the backs of them to get bugs off. The bathroom needs some deep cleaning.
