Birch Hill Suites Extended Stay - Blue Ash

Definitely one of the more affordable stays I have been to.They falsely advertise television service on these listings.The first time I visited, was the same issue as the second time,tv Wasn't working,no cable. The person in duty said he would try to get me a discount,but it was never applied.

Checking in was a fine. Once I got into the building across the main building though was something else. As soon as I entered the building stairwell the smell of old cigarettes hit hard. The railing was sticky so I tried not to touch it any more than I had to. The carpet was not cleaned in awhile it looked like. At first my keycard would not work. The receptionist was able to fix it at least but was kinda inconvenient. Walking into the room I was hit with musty cigarette odor, the trim was made out of old carpet and some of it was missing so you could see where the wall and floor met. The carpet also didnt look like it was vaccumed in ages. The walls and ceiling had sparterring of what looked like blood. The curtains had cigarette burns and the windows look beat up too. The bed only had three bed covers on it and no comforter. Under the sheets you could see spots of blood. Safe to say I was very uncomfortable sleeping there. The kitchenette that they had was also pretty bad, a drawer front was pulled out and laying on the counter. Refrigerator had a coating on it like smoke residue. Opening the fridge I found a dead roach which was so gross. Nothing was in the cabinets.The floor was not clean and had a large space missing under the counter like something was meant to me there. The bathroom was not much better, the toilet barely flushed and I feared it wouldnt at all. The towels were dirty and there were no bathing amenities, spare blankets or pillows at all. Nothing good.

The smell and cleanliness was awful. We quite literally checked in, looked at our room, and left. Ended up staying at the Marriott down the street because of the poor conditions. Never returned to the room.

They cancelled my booking the day I was leaving for the hotel

Property was very ran down, check in process went well, but when we walked into our room there was already a long time tenant who was not expecting someone to show up. Felt unsafe for my family, will avoid at all costs

Originally went with this property because they had a great deal on my work corporate perks website, pictures were great along with reviews, and a full kitchen is nice with a little one. When we got there it instantly smelled of smoke, the smell wafting from the inside of the office. Once we got in our room we saw a roach in the hallway and then one in our room and burn holes in our pillows! Was completely disgusting

I was called the day of check in a was told they actually do not have rooms avaiable due to a manual error and canceled my reservation. When I checked Hotels.com later in the afternoon, this location still had open rooms listed. When I called they said they do not.

Property was run down and not well maintained. Lots of trashy people staying here.
