"Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff, good food and comfy bed"

10.0

Great hotel, spotless everywhere, lovely rooms with a sea view over Tiran island. Food in all the restaurants was lovely, though we struggled to get a drink in the main restaurant. No waiters got any drinks, they just cleared the plates away. But this is the only complaint we had. Other than that, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our cleaner on the 5th floor was Muhammad who was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us, he was friendly and kept our room spotless and surprised us with towel art. Also, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever had on holiday. The waiter ashram at the beach was also excellent and kept us well hydrated from the beach bar. He was very attentive and brought us coffee on the beach daily at 10am. We would love to return to this hotel and would highly recommend it. Also…… the pool is heated which is a big bonus too. Sunbeds on the beach have mattresses and are very comfortable paired with the fresh beach towels available daily. The à la carte restaurants were very good as was the service there, staff were very friendly.

"All and all it was a very enjoyable stay as we all enjoyed the great weather, the sun and fresh sea breezes..."

10.0

In Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt the guest has a mammoth amount of hotel properties to select from, but if you really want to totally immerse yourself in a fantastic stay, I strongly suggest that you stay at the Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas and Spa located along the beautiful Al Pasha Coast. My wife and I along with our best friends spent four days and three nights there earlier this month. The floor plan of the Sheraton Sharm Hotel has a unique floor plan, as one enters the property on the seventh floor, which is the top floor. This is where the reception area and main restaurants are located and your room is usually found below. The Sheraton Sharm has over 800 rooms! We were upgraded into a lovely suite that was conveniently located on the seventh floor. Our suite was quite spacious and had a very large outdoor terrace with two sun lounges and table. The view from our Terrance was fantastic. The only challenge within our suite was the very, very small television located in the main living area. The beach is quite large and runs along the entire hotels length. In the center is a nice long pier which jets out to the Coral Reef Face or also called the Reef Crest. There are two ladders that take the SCUBA divers and snorkelers to the sea. The water is extremely clear and filled with many types of sea life. On the sandy beach there are a great many Gazebo’s that contain two to four sun lounge chairs. There are also two beach bars which serve both fruit drinks as well as alcoholic beverages. There are multiple swimming pools, and a Pool Bar was available. The Sheraton Sharm Hotel has three major restaurants, the White Cruiser Restaurant offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Buffets, the Portofino Italian a la carte restaurant plus the Dar El Qamar Lebanese a la carte restaurant. The Lobby Bar was nice but only offered a small selection of liquors and cocktails and was open 24/7. My wife and our friends enjoyed the resorts Spa, they all said it was very relaxing. In the reception area was the Guest Relations desk and Rana was extremely helpful throughout our stay. All and all it was a very enjoyable stay as we all enjoyed the great weather, the sun and fresh sea breezes. So, if you want a top four or five-star property I strongly suggest you stay at the Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas and Spa.

"Lovely resort"

10.0

The hotel is clean all around, the facilities are well kept and the entire territory is lush and nice looking. The staff are taking great care of us, from front desk to bartenders and housekeepers. Room is spacious including all the basic necessities. The entertainment at the hotel is honestly great, lots of things to do throughout the day and at night and the entertainment staff themselves are very nice and chatty. We loved all the different musicians at the main restaurant at dinner as well. We are thoroughly enjoying our time here.

"Great for families"

10.0

It’s our first time in Egypt however this hotel left a rather positive impression. The location was really convenient being just a short taxi ride away from all the shops and main tourist spots yet far enough from all the city noise. The cleanliness was top notch, you can tell they look after all the facilities and the whole place in general. Our room had comfortable beds and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Elsayed who did our room told us we could ask him anything and he’ll take care of it. The staff are a literal gem of the hotel - we travel a lot however we’ve never met people so welcoming and willing to help with any question or request. All of them got a smile on at all times and nothing is ever too much of a trouble. Entertainment staff had lots of positive energy that they shared with everybody and tried their best to get everyone moving. Our children (4 & 9y/o) loved the kids club activities and kept asking to go there first thing in the morning. The beach is massive so we were always able to find empty sunbeds. There are plenty bars all around and the bartenders on the beach bring the drinks without having to ask. There’s also a snack bar near the pool where you can grab fries, pizza and other junk food during the day which our children really loved. The hotel is great value for money and is a good place for families wanting an enjoyable holiday in the sun. We are planning to return this summer :)

"Terrible place"

2.0

Got to be the worst hotel we've been to in Egypt in 15 years of going there. Food is poor quality & not hot, hotel is very dated, very loud music on the beach from animation team & you can't escape noise even at the far end of the beach, snack bar might aswell be shut as its cold burger bun or cold chips, entertainment on a evening is poor when it is on, only bar is lobby bar & hard to get a seat, staff on the whole are good.

"What a great holiday"

10.0

Stayed in the hotel for a week total. First good thing to notice was the location - minutes away from the airport, same goes for both Naama Bay and Soho Square. From the first day we were shown around, restaurant staff were very attentive, they explained to us and showed us the all the restaurants available as well as the outdoor area where grilled food was prepared. There is a local diving centre within the hotel which included a team of great instructors who assisted us in our diving sessions. You can also snorkel off the jetty while holding onto a safety rope if you’re not sure of your swimming abilities. Entertainment staff were friendly and always offered to participate in their events and activities while not being pushy about it. We really enjoyed the nightly performances that usually happen on the stage near the lobby bar. The room we were given had lots of space even after bringing an extra bed and included a mini fridge, tv, kettle, hairdryer.. Shampoos, shower gels and the rest of bathroom amenities were brought in and replenished daily. Thankfully the room was quiet so we could’t hear any of our neighbours or the outside noise. It was our son’s birthday and our cleaner took care of that and arranged a birthday cake not to mention the lovely towel art that he did daily! It was definitely noticeable that all the staff here work hard trying to keep the people happy with everything, we would love to return solely for how much they really care and are keen on the guests comfort.

"Birthday Joy (And Mild Public Humiliation) at Portofino"

10.0

If you are a British man of a certain age (let’s call it "Level 50+"), your like avoiding unnecessary fuss, maintaining a stiff upper lip, and politely declining anything that might draw attention. Naturally, my wife decided to ignore all of that. Here is why Portofino is the best place to lose your dignity and find your inner child: The Vibe: Portofino via Pixar The restaurant is styled like an Italian piazza, complete with those iconic Portofino pastel houses. It’s charming, transportive, and—thanks to my wife’s advance "intel" to the staff—our table looked like a party store had exploded on it. We’re talking balloons and real flower petals. Reminded me of wearing a birthday badge at Disneyland. The Food: Small Menu, great presentation. The inclusive menu isn't a phone book. We’ve been working our way through it, and every dish has been a tasty. The presentation is top-tier, and the service is always personal. The Grand Finale: The "I Want to Melt into the Floor" Moment Just as I thought I’d survived the meal with my British reserve intact, the cavalry arrived. The entire waitinf staff, the lovely young greeting woman, and a local band member wielding a very loud percussive instrument descended upon the table. I was treated to a roaring rendition of "Happy Birthday" in both Egyptian and English. A massive birthday cake appeared, my face turned a shade of red that matched the tomatoes, and I had the broadest, most ridiculous grin on my face. The Verdict - I went in wanting no fuss; I left glowing with embarrassment and genuine joy. It turns out that while my 50-something English exterior wants no fuas, my inner 8-year-old was doing backflips. Thank you to Abram Zakaria and team for a great experience. If you want to feel truly celebrated (and slightly mortified).

"Cheap as chips"

10.0

Cheap as chips, food ok. Hotel clean. Friendly staff. Only bad thing is that where are no shops near by, however that’s my fault for not checking. Would be the only reason for not staying again. But like I said it was very cheap.

"Could be better."

6.0

Dont bother. One toilet on the whole lobby floor. Food cold , witnessed staff with thermometers measuring bain marie steam temps instead of actual food temps. Cave bar waterfalls not working due to building works above. Childrens play areas broken facilities. No bar in either karaoke room or outside entertaiment area.
