The Windsor Suites

I really liked my 2 night stay here on a business trip in the smallest room available. It is obvious that at one time this was an apartment building which is now a hotel, but the bonus is much larger rooms, kitchens, big closets (not really necessary), etc. The only reasons for deducting a star is that I think they should have at least one grab bar in the shower and a toilet which is not ridiculously near floor level. (Perhaps I should have asked about handicapped rooms although I am just old, not handicapped). A small sofa and/or an additional armchair would be good -- there's no lack of space. And a blow dryer, extra or warmer blankets and a luggage rack would have been nice. But it's a great location, the lobby construction seems to be over, and it was like coming home to an apartment after a long day and not a hotel. I plan to book again.

It was pet friendly, the facility was clean and the customer service was exceptional.

Unterkunft baut gerade im Großen Stil um. Überall Bauschutt. Keine Lobby. Aufzug besetzt. Alleswisser. Wenig primitiv und lieblos. Dafür sehr teuer.

We recently booked a Skyline Club Level King Suite for a weekend in Philadelphia. The room rate was $580 per night and all of the hotel’s descriptions of 800-900 sq.ft. rooms had our expectations high. We were somewhat surprised by the chaotic lobby experience due to construction, but we were even more surprised by the cave-like room that we were assigned on the 16th floor. The room was very old and it was a single room with barely enough room to walk around the bed. There was also a large, double door into an adjoining space where we could distinctly hear a couple’s conversation and the game show playing on their TV. After complaining, we were told that we were given that room in error (?) and we were assigned an even smaller room in the “new section” of top floor. They must be the “skyline” rooms, but our was definitely not a “suite” as described on their website. Also, our key fob did not work for the gym or other amenities. Later at night we were also treated to the lengthy conversation of the couple next door. Avoid this hotel
