Sonder Greektown

Positives: unit was clean, nice. Big windows and tall ceilings, airy, updated. Negatives: No elevator or lobby. Must lug your suitcase all the way up the steps. No bedroom TV and no full length mirror, which are must haves for me when I am traveling. Lastly, missing some safety elements like an inside lock. There was also a group of men hanging out outside of the outside door the entire stay. Both nights, as a female I didn't feel totally safe, especially without a lobby/doorman or interior lock. Although it was clean and nice, I will not be staying again.

Our stay was amazing! It felt like our home away from home. The property is located within walking distance to many restaurants and grocery stores. Be prepared to walk up stairs to get to the unit :)

No security. Felt very unsafe with many undesirable people hanging around the entrance

I stayed here while recovering from surgery and it was PERFECT. Easy access, good communication, absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities built in. Even a washer and dryer. So much better than staying at a run of the mill hotel.

Nothing not to like about this place.

Climbing up the stairs was so uncomfortable - having to carry my luggage up those stairs to the topmost floor was tough. The property needs a lift

A bolt fastener feel out of a countee stool fell out straight away

Layout was nice and bedroom had big bed.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable Only had 1 mirror in bathroom Paintwork a bit tired

Kitchen well equiped

1) Unsafe Localization. People using drugs/smoking at the door of the facility 2) There is no elevator and I had 5 bags and 2 kids 3) There is no reception 4) The apartment was dirty, mainly the sofa (Female hair) 5) The apartment was not smelling good 6) There is no roof to protect guests while they are typing the code to open the building's front door. When it is raining you will get wet.

El departamento es hermoso sólo que se debe tener en cuenta que hay muchísimas escaleras para llegar al departamento y no hay elevador. El palier y las escaleras huelen a humedad pero el departamento por dentro es hermoso.

Location was good, and the sonder staff were easy to contact. Check-in was easy and the place was relatively clean

I stayed there for 10 days and throughout my stay the window looking into the street was broken, so I could not close it properly (the staff tried to fix it on my first day in but were unable to do so). During the week it was bearable but in the weekend there was the Mexican independence day and the noise coming from the street was excessive. The fact that the window was open made this much worse and I could not sleep at all during that weekend. To be fair, when I contacted the Sonder staff about this issue, they responded there's nothing they can do about it and offered compensation which is approximately what I paid for 1 night (I stayed for 10). I would not stay there again.
