Small bathroom no walk in shower was told we could use the shower in the health spa but had to go outside to get to it

The breakfast was very nice and good value for money, It was all really good quality food. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially at breakfast. Two receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The location was very good and close to everything and we had a lovely view from our room.

We thought the hotel was in need of a refurb and the furniture in the room needed replacing and was very tired and shabby looking. The shower was very old and the water was just a trickle. The bedding was very old and looked off white. We expected higher standards for a four star hotel. We have stayed in three star hotels with better rooms and standards of care.
