Tween Waters is a one stop shop for everything you need when going to the beach for a getaway. We had winderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were great and took wonderful care of us. The beach was 20 steps from our room and the pool was a refreashing treat afterwards.

"Not worth going back to"

5.0

Having the beach across the street was rally good. The only friendly staff was Brian the Bartender at the pool bar. The sunset was nice the first day.

We checked in. It was rushed. I still have no receipts that I was told I was going to get. We had to figure out where to go and what to do on the property. No place to eat with our pets. So how do you deem pet friendly. On location pizza place. Went there at 6:20pm waited to 6:35p. No one around. Went to the front desk for questions about the horrible wifi, tv reception and where are all these shells everyone talks about. That didn’t go well. As for the wifi my answer was a shoulder shrug. Beds hard, pillows horrible, can’t change the time on the clock, three lists of channels for the tv still not sure how it works. Captiva town snobs. We went to Sanibel the next day. That was so much better except the $5 an hour to pay for beaches the tax payers help pay to renurish. Overall the room looked nice and was clean but for the price we were charged and I am not sure that was even correct because I haven’t received a receipt. Going to Sanibel if we go back that way next time. St Augustine a lot better and here we come.

"An Old Fashion Resort Treat!"

10.0

This was the first stop on our first trip to Florida with the family and it was perfect! Our third floor room was somewhat basic, but it had a great view of the gulf. They had a nice complimentary breakfast with delicious pastries and wonderful fresh fruit. It is always important to me to be able to get good coffee in the lobby before heading down to breakfast. We sipped them on the balcony while the girls lounged in bed. The kids and my wife loved the pool and the exercise room. You can even see Manatees right off the shore of the mainland. If you don't see them at first, then return a couple times and watch for other guests standing along on the shore or on the dock looking into the water. We really enjoyed renting kayaks and heading over to the nearby island with a canal system running through it. Also, we saw the most amazing dolphins on the dolphin cruise operating out of the South Seas Resort. I loved the old timey vibe of the place. It was like taking the type of vacation I might have had back in the 70's, but with all the modern conveniences.

Many restaurants but the main ones are the same. I’d prefer the beach chairs and umbrella to be included.

Overall stay was nice. But I would not go back just because I felt the dining options were very limited and overall very expensive. The bathroom water pressure was awful. Oasis bar was nice and in particular Brian was a great bartender. He made great drinks and was very personable. Enjoyed sitting at the pool bar and talking with him. Pool was also very nice. Would like more music.
