Cleaning people were very good, rooms and hotel very clean

Upper management was not hospitable and were rude . Very poor customer service compared to my past experience in Mexico

Check in was great. The pool was great. The general grounds and property were very well maintained.

The manager - when we checked in there were ants in the bed. Not on the bed, but in it. Between the sheets. I captured a few and took them to the front desk and asked for a manager. A young lady told me she was the manager. She looked at them and then just kind of dismissed it by saying "they are just ants. This is the tropics." Well, I am aware of that, I live here, but I never have ants IN my bed. She finally agreed to have housekeeping go change the bedding and look for other ants. Her attitude had zero empathy and was not good. The food - it is limited in selection and it is in general not good. Cheap, unseasoned, mass produced cafeteria type food. We took a taxi into town to eat each night. The food is very poor quality.

Things here are amazing. The food is good and there is plenty of variety for everyone’s needs. All staff was amazing, kind, cheerful, helpful and just lovely. A special shout out to to the bell man, Luis, who was so sweet and helpful; Danna at pool/beach service was amazing, anticipating our needs before we could; when one of our elders fell at the pool, she was the one who was able to find a bag to fill with ice - G’ma’s knee did not swell because she got us the I e so quickly: Alfredo at Santa Rosa breakfast area was perfect-helpful, warming our tortillas as we walked in the door, knowing our drink preference and getting our mango cut up for us. The whole crew at the dive shop made the discovery dive experience work flawlessly for two who weren’t sure they “could” dive. They’ll now be moving forward with certification so they, too, can experience the beauty of Cozumel diving. This was one of the most relaxing trips in a long time, from arrival to departure.

Overall the trip was wonderful. The weather said rain the whole week, however it was rare, and mainly at night. We had incredible service at the premier clubhouse by Omar, Christian, Alfredo and Luis. Our other favorite was Danna, for beach drinks. She is the hardest worker! She walks 10k steps a day along the pool and beach to deliver drinks, please tip her well! Everyone on the staff was lovely. Luis the bellman is exceptional! He works so hard. The deal you get for the vacation is comparable to the experience. The food was good. We went into town to La Mission and Serah’s - well worth the taxi rides. These days it’s difficult to avoid cruise ship days as there seemed to be 3-6 of them a day, each bringing 3-10k people per boat. All of the prices in town are increased on cruise ship days. Bring a hydroflask for your drinks, a floaty for the beach. Your stay will be what you make of it.

The teppanyaki experience with Jenny, Jorge Chan, and Pedro Chi was amazing. Best dinner here so far

Plan to have frequent meals outside resort. Food tastes terrible we were there for 6 days and only was able to reserve 1 specialty restaurant instead of 2. But even then the specialty restaurant (Italian) was disappointing. Staff doesn’t know how to handle making your reservation either they have different knowledge of the process. The only drink I recommend is the Pina colada the taste was consistent. Room service was good. Pool was good. Beach good not as clear as people rave about but it could’ve just been bad timing for us

We had a wonderful stay at Allegro Cozumel. We upgraded to the premium package that gave us access to the Santa Rosa premium area pool and bar. Omar, Luis, Cristian, and Alfredo took great care of us the whole time we were there. Great drinks and great food. Go see them and you will have a better trip!

We had a great time at the hotel and will return in 3 weeks. This is great practice for my retirement. My wife and I had a relaxing time and look forward to our next visit.
