Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto East

Coffee Creamer in hotel room was old. When i placed one pack in my coffee it curdled. The bed was OLD. I would dip deeper when I am at the centre of the bed. The hotel needs a makeover. I called room service 7:30 am to order breakfast, I had to call 5 times until I can reach them. When I did, the guy who answered had a very rude tone and seemed irritated taking the order. After receiving my breakfast, I signed the bill and gave tip only to realize “after the fact” that 15% gratuity was already included in the amount. The person who brought my food did NOT disclose this - a very dishonest practice.

We didn't use the pool area but I appreciate that it was there. I didn't like that our room overlooked the garbage cans & loading dock. Also, the restaurant was almost always closed. We had to ask for clean face cloths after the cleaning staff tidied our room.

Rooms and hotel facilities are generally satisfactory. Two breakfasts and one dinner were adequate. However, hotel management failed to respond to the fact that there was a large meeting on Saturday whose attendees would be interested in lunch

They service was amazing and we were a loud to bring food in to eat.

Love it. Spacious. Restaurant availability . Customer service is great

This is a nice, reasonable priced hotel. It's well maintained, has a nice lobby and a big indoor pool. The staff is attentive and helpful. The only drawback is its location, not near anything of interest. It's an hour or more to downtown or the airport, and more by public transport (which required several transfers).

My husband and I recently stayed at the Delta and was overall satisfied with our room. We were very underwhelmed with the bathroom though. It was very dark and dingy looking in the bathtub area. There was mold on the tiles and a drop ceiling that had rust. The wallpaper was also peeling so it just made everything look gross. We brought this to the attention of the customer service rep who checked us out and they provided us with the contact info of the manager so we can let them know about the bathroom. When we received a response back from the manager they offered us free breakfast at our next stay but also said that since we didn't pay by credit card that they could not offer us a refund. We did not ask for a refund nor expect one but the manager gave us the impression that a refund was on the table. When we responded back offering to come back to the hotel for a refund, they just chose to ignore us. We felt that it was ridiculous that they were using our method of payment as an excuse for why they couldn't offer a refund. We were planning on coming back but after this experience that's not going to happen now.

Facilities are old, and so are the rooms. The staff is amazing
