The rooms, especially the bathroom desperately need to be upgraded.

This hotel was somehow disappointing yet I didn’t even pay for it as I was on here for a senior trip. The elevators didn’t work when my class was here. The room already had stains before I entered my room. The breakfast was so bad that I just decided to go to the cereal bar the next time I had breakfast. Also I’m positive I got some fungal infection from the places indoor pool. Do not be fooled by its modern looking lobby as it really isn’t and don’t be fooled into booking this due to its connivence to Busch gardens it is not worth your own money.

Front foyer inviting and check in easy. Very dated and broken furniture in both of rooms well reserved. Absolutely no extra supplies at front desk (towels, laundry soap (dispenser broken), silverware, no pool towels). Pool and hot tub very nice (however, no towels provided or at front desk). No hot selection at breakfast except for waffles. Parking easy and available.

Breakfast was bad

Main areas of the hotel were gorgeous.

Rooms were horribly outdated, carpet had tape to keep it down and to keep from tripping guests. Our deadbolt was broken, water wouldn’t stop dripping in the shower and was overly loud. Carpet in the room was filthy and chairs had rips in them. Pool and hot tub were the main reason for booking and it was down for two of our days. Internet also showed a hot breakfast on the website and we didn’t get that until our last day which was Saturday and also another reason for booking. We were excited for a hot breakfast but were disappointed again by the awful taste of the eggs and sausage gravy. Disappointing stay over all.

Breakfast disappointing- waffles/cereal and staff in dining are his in corner and did not interact. Was talking and did not open until after 7 am. No towels for pool Laundry soap dispenser broken and no front desk supplies. Front desk had no supplies for anything(towels, personal items, silverware, ) vending machines for snacks only. Front entrance nice and welcoming, however rooms and hallways extremely worn and broken down. Bed comfortable.

The breakfast buffet did not have a meat to go with gravy and eggs. We had a patio, but couldn't access it because the sliding doors are bolted shut. Apparently, that's legal? We paid extra for our dog to stay as it is supposedly dog friendly. The check-in staff told us we could have a late checkout and to call in the morning to confirm. When I called in the am I was told that we couldn't check out late (even though over 100 rooms were vacant the night before). I was told we could only extend by a half hour. After we left the hotel, I got another condescending call from the desk staff at 11:50 am, telling me that I had no business being there as checkout was already past due. I was driving on the highway at that time and have no idea what she was talking about. The hotel has well exceeded it's hay day and the morning front desk staff is a rude, condescending incompetent piece of work. It serves its purpose if you don't mind being annoyed.
